Not very many people have the confidence to say to themselves, “Today is my day!”. I have been there many times too. Today is truly your day and that is why the devil struggled so hard to keep you from accepting this truth but it is too late now.
These are the days that you have been called to “…be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus” – 2 Timothy 2:1. I don’t know how ready you are to make room in your thinking but I encourage you to stay open to Him and keep an attitude of faith and expectancy because this day God wants to overwhelm you with His blessing and favour in every areas of your life!
I love the promise that God gave to Joshua in Joshua 4:14. He said, “Joshua, today I will begin to make you great in the eyes of all the Israelites.” He was saying, “Today, I’m going to start releasing more of My favour, My blessings, My increase.” But notice, there was a set time God began to release favour in a new way. God wants to do the same thing for you. He wants to release His blessings and favour in such a way that it makes you a great parent, a great spouse, a great leader, a great employee, a great friend, a great business person, a man or woman with influence and affluence.
God is saying to us what He said to Joshua in Joshua 4:14, “This day I’m going to begin to make your name great. This day I’m going to begin to release My favour in a new way. I’m going to open doors that no man can shut.” This day will you be rewarded with an opportunity to fulfill all that He has put in your heart. For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you – Isaiah 41:13. Hallelujah! He said do not fear, don’t look at the circumstances, those challenges and that feeling for I WILL help you.
Brothers and sisters, when your day comes, something within you will tell you…this is the day I have been waiting for. Today is a set time of God’s favour for you. So get ready! Make room in your thinking. Say with your mouth that today is your day. This year is your year! This is the day I have been waiting for! Give God thanks that you have the victory in the middle of this problem. Thank Him because everything is going good now, and it is going to stay that way.
Today, I pray that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. -Philippians 4:7
