Beloved of God,
God will use friends, acquaintances and even strangers to help us. He will use events and circumstance to lighten our load and make the walk more bearable. He will personally be available to comfort and guide us, to give us wisdom in decision-making, and to love us right where we are. He will bring those rays of light into the dark room of our lives, and help us through our time of need. We must do our part, however, and open our eyes to see the slivers of light He sends our way. He loves us very much, for we are His children, and He will never leave or forsake us.
The bleakness and hopelessness that you see in that situation is a lying vanity that the devil has put in front of you, but you must not “observe” (or “dwell on”) it. Rather, you must embrace the mercy and goodness of God’s promises to you. Jonah 2:8 KJV says: “They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy (or “the grace that could be theirs,” NIV).” Make sure you walk by faith and not by sight (2 Cor.5:7).
Refuse to be intimidated by your situation. Refuse to accept poverty. Refuse to accept frustration. Refuse to accept the world’s definition of you. Your situations are subject to change.
Stop saying you’re confused. Stop saying you are finished. Stop saying things are never going to get better. Stop saying you are frustrated. Stop saying you will kill yourself. Stop! Stop amplifying the voice of the devil. Stop! What does GOD say about your future?! He says, “For I know the plans I have for you, sayeth the Lord; plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a HOPE” (Jeremiah 29:11).
Refuse to be intimidated by your situation. Refuse to accept poverty. Refuse to accept frustration. Refuse to accept the world’s definition of you. Your situations are subject to change. “… the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were” (Romans 4:17b-21) is your Father. He is your healer. He is your deliverer. He is your help. Against all hope, believe Him and His Word. Your best days are still ahead of you. Wait for the Lord. Be strong. Take heart. Wait for the Lord. Help is on the way!
