Riches come from God. There are those that say, watch out for those that are rich to know if their riches are from the devil. Riches doesn’t come from the devil.
¶¶Isaiah 1:19 (TLB) says, “If you will only let me help you, if you will only obey, then I will make you rich!”
God has the ability to fulfill His Word. He said, “I will make make rich”.
¶¶Psalms 112:1-3 (KJV) says, “1 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. 2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. 3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever”.
Your circumstances should not change the condition of your Spirit such that you can’t help yourself or help others. God’s riches has nothing to do with where you live or in which Nation you are.
Wealth, riches and righteousness are linked together so it’s not true that when you are rich you cannot be righteous. Always be aware that God wants His children to be rich. Your observation of many Christians may not say so. There is a difference between someone who has been rich and in that condition gave his life to Christ and the other guy through the principles of the Word of God become rich. That is because God wants it to happen that way and that’s the reality.
There are many Christians around the world who have never been thought accurately on how to apply the Word of God. Those who doesn’t want to be rich should know that they have the ability to become rich and to be able to help others become rich. Your circumstances should not change the condition of your Spirit such that you can’t help yourself or help others. God’s riches has nothing to do with where you live or in which Nation you are. God has said it is your Year of Increase in Fortunes.
¶¶Amos 3:7 (AMP) says, “Surely the Lord God will do nothing without revealing His secret to His servants the prophets”.
Why does God tell us what he wants us to do at the beginning of the year. It’s so that we can have faith for it, prepare for it and be able to fulfill His will, His plans and purposes fulfilled in our lives. God gives riches and wealth. ¶¶Ecclesiastes 5:19 (KJV) says, “Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God”.
When God gave Solomon wisdom, God didn’t give him riches because he was magnanimous but because riches and wealth cannot be separated from wisdom.
Solomon never asked God for riches or wealth. He only asked for wisdom.
¶¶2 Chronicles 1:11-12 (KJV) says, “11 And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king: 12 Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like”.
God granted Solomon’s request but added riches and wealth to it. David understood this, he had a sense of this. ¶¶1 Chronicles 29:10-12 (KJV) says, “10 Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever. 11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. 12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all”.
Hallelujah! Glory to God! David said riches and honor comes from God and it is in His power to give strength.
¶¶Ecclesiastes 6:1-2 (KJV) says, “1 There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, and it is common among men: 2 A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is vanity, and it is an evil disease”.
Why should a man have a large company, have thousands of workers, the banks are using his money to do business and building more branches but the man himself doesn’t have good health to enjoy it? The word says it’s vanity and an evil disease that is common among men to various degrees. Many people do things because that is the normal thing to do. How many of you before you put money into the bank ask God what to do with the money?
Stop looking for good jobs. What you need is to go into a job and give something to humanity.
¶¶John 3:8 (KJV) says, “The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit”.
¶¶Psalms 71:7 (KJV) says, “I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge”.
Learn to listen to the Holy Spirit. How did Solomon knows what to ask God? Solomon was the wisest man that ever lived before Jesus. He wrote a book and showed us why he thinks differently.
¶¶Proverbs 4:1-3 (KJV) says, “1 Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding. 2 For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law. 3 For I was my father’s son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother”.
He was raised as the heir apparent. David anointed him king even when his elder brother Adonaika proclaimed himself king.
¶¶Proverbs 4:4-7 (KJV) says, “4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. 5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. 6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. 7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding”.
This is why Solomon asked God for wisdom. His father taught him. What you need for that business is not money but wisdom. God is the one who gives riches, wealth and honour. He gave it to Abraham and his seeds. When God gave Solomon wisdom, God didn’t give him riches because he was magnanimous but because riches and wealth cannot be separated from wisdom.
It doesn’t matter if you are cleaning a window, the law of prosperity is at work in you. Your salary is not your blessing.
¶¶Galatians 3:19-29 (TLB) says, “19 Well then, why were the laws given? They were added after the promise was given, to show men how guilty they are of breaking God’s laws. But this system of law was to last only until the coming of Christ, the Child to whom God’s promise was made. (And there is this further difference. God gave his laws to angels to give to Moses, who then gave them to the people; 20 but when God gave his promise to Abraham, he did it by himself alone, without angels or Moses as go-betweens.) 21 Well then, are God’s laws and God’s promises against each other? Of course not! If we could be saved by his laws, then God would not have had to give us a different way to get out of the grip of sin– 22 for the Scriptures insist we are all its prisoners. The only way out is through faith in Jesus Christ; the way of escape is open to all who believe him. 23 Until Christ came we were guarded by the law, kept in protective custody, so to speak, until we could believe in the coming Savior. 24 Let me put it another way. The Jewish laws were our teacher and guide until Christ came to give us right standing with God through our faith. 25 But now that Christ has come, we don’t need those laws any longer to guard us and lead us to him. 26 For now we are all children of God through faith in Jesus Christ, 27 and we who have been baptized into union with Christ are enveloped by him. 28 We are no longer Jews or Greeks or slaves or free men or even merely men or women, but we are all the same–we are Christians; we are one in Christ Jesus. 29 And now that we are Christ’s we are the true descendants of Abraham, and all of God’s promises to him belong to us”.
Christ inherited all the blessings of Abraham and if you belong to Christ, you are Abraham seed.
¶¶1 Corinthians 1:30 (KJV) says, “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:”.
Blessed is the man that fears the LORD. God doesn’t need to make you rich. He doesn’t need to give you power to get wealth. It’s useless to start asking God to make you rich now because you were born the very heir of all riches. The power to get wealth was given to you. You were born with an authority and with all that you need. What you need now is to use the Word of God to chart the course of your life. Stop looking for good jobs. What you need is to go into a job and give something to humanity. Stop putting your hope in your job. It doesn’t matter if you are cleaning a window, the law of prosperity is at work in you. Your salary is not your blessing.
