Don’t live your life based on what you have heard or because of a bad experience. Don’t let your activities in Church depend on your mood. The place to have a friend is in Church and not outside Church. When I say make friends in Church, I am not saying start a friendship that is selfish or sexual but friendship that is based on brotherliness. Don’t become friends with people based on what you can get from them. Learn to make friends in Church. Smile to the one around you and welcome them to Church. Look at them such that you can remember their faces again.
Be ready to learn from fellow believers because God can use them to guide you, help you or turn you away from the gospel. If you surround yourself with ungodly people you are going to be having challenges. They will turn you away from the right path. When you come around Christians, it doesn’t matter how small they are, there is something to learn from everyone. ¶¶Psalms 1:1 (KJV) says, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful”.
Let your word be season with wisdom. You should speak words filled with grace. When your speak to people they should be encouraged and not discouraged. Be the one to pray for people rather than be the one tormenting them.
Ungodly counsel can come from a Christian and from none Christians. That’s why you must make friends with Christians. God has given us a beautiful life but the question is, do you know about it? The more understanding you have of this life the more beautiful your life will be. If you know the kind of life you have, you will take advantage of it.
¶¶1 John 5:10-12 (KJV) says, “10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life”.
What’s eternal life? ¶¶Romans 10:10 (KJV) says, “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”.
You must take advantage of what you have and the life that you have been called into through knowledge. God is talking to you this morning and it doesn’t matter who gave birth to you or the country you live in, you must take advantage of this eternal life.
A man gave birth and the doctors told him that the child has a hole in his heart. The only thing the guy could said to the doctor was, “give me that paper, I am from Christ Embassy. My son cannot have a hole in his heart”. Today, that child is healthy and doing great. The life you have is not biological but eternal life. When situations come to you, do you remember the life you have? Do you know why you got born again? The life you have is not just any life. It’s the transcendent life. It is a glorious life. Take advantage of it at all times. It’s your knowledge of this life that will make you to take advantage of it.
The problems that come to you come to make you strong and stand strong. Problems come for you to put your faith to work. You must live your life using the scriptures rather than using your circumstances.
When the wrong thoughts comes to you, be quick to stop it. Be quick to counter it with God’s word. Don’t allow the wrong thoughts to take you outside His Word. Say this… I’m a child of God. The life of God puts me over. Christianity is a life of confession. You must open your mouth and talk at all times. When you say, “I will never be broke”, you are arranging something that will make things, situations and circumstances to work together for you.
¶¶Proverbs 23:7 (KJV) says, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee”.
What you think is what you will become but what you say is what you will see happened in your life. Say this…I have the life of God in me. It’s in my mouth. It’s in my bones. I can never be poor in life. No matter what happens to you, never find yourself confessing the wrong things. Become so courageous such that people will be wondering what’s wrong with you. What’s wrong with you is because you look and see differently. ¶¶2 Corinthians 4:18 (KJV) says, “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal”.
¶¶Ephesians 5:15-17 (KJV) says, “15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is”.
¶¶Hebrews 10:25 (KJV) says, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching”.
The day talked about here is the rapture. There are people that are sick and don’t feel like going to church but they will go to work on Monday. There are those who are going through financial challenges and instead of them to find a way to come to Church they are saying they can’t.
¶¶1 Corinthians 10:12 (KJV) says, “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall” .
¶¶Proverbs 24:10 (KJV) says, “If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small”.
Problems come to people not because God is not with them. The problems that come to you come to make you strong and stand strong. Problems come for you to put your faith to work. You must live your life using the scriptures rather than using your circumstances. Jesus lived out his prophecy, you must live out yours. ¶¶Hebrews 10:7 (KJV) says, “Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God”.
¶¶Proverbs 1:7 (KJV) says, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction”.
Don’t be the one that want to seek revenge for what others have done to you. The temptations in the world today are so much and you must be careful to live above them. If you look into the Word of God, you will live a beautiful life.
Stop saying, “I know what God has said but… “. Stop setting aside the Word of God in your life and in the situations that your are faced with. Problems come to you because the devil has come to attack your faith. Why do two brothers have the same problem and one says I am leaving the Church while the other saying I am staying? There are those who are so angry that they want to take their fellow brothers to court because of business disagreement. Didn’t the Bible says we shouldn’t take our brothers to court knowing that we are the ones to judge Angels. Stop using your head to resolve the situations of life. Every true child of God should have this concience.
¶¶1 Corinthians 6:7 (KJV) says, “Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?”.
¶¶Romans 12:19 (KJV) says, “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord”.
Never let anger control you. Never hold something in your mind. If your heart is clothed with anger God will not use you because you can’t hear him when he is talking to you.
Don’t be the one that want to seek revenge for what others have done to you. The temptations in the world today are so much and you must be careful to live above them. If you look into the Word of God, you will live a beautiful life. Don’t be too difficult to forgive your wife as a husband.
¶¶Romans 8:32 (KJV) says, “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? God spared not his son”.
We are so close to rapture. Don’t let a neighbor annoy you that you don’t know that day is very close to rapture. You must be careful not to allow anyone change you or take the Word out of you. Why do you allow situations take out the glow and the glory of God in you? Never let anger control you. Never hold something in your mind. If your heart is clothed with anger God will not use you because you can’t hear him when he is talking to you. Never allow the things you don’t have determine your happiness. Work on being and not on having. Work on your personality. Work on yourself. Your should be able to succeed and turn to success irrespective of where you are taken to. It doesn’t matter where you are taken to in your office, everywhere is strategic for a child of God. The Christian life is not physical so you must be careful not to do anything otherwise.
Why are you so angry you don’t want to come to Church? The Bible says in ¶¶Ecclesiastes 7:9 (KJV), “Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools”.
Let Christ be truly be God in your life. Many people are not really living the God kind of life in them and that’s why you must work with knowledge and not with authority.
That you are a Deacon or Deaconess doesn’t mean that you have finished growing. You are still in a school. Stop saying, “a whole me!”. Stop saying because your relationship failed you won’t come to church again. The things that are worrying you shows that your are still a child. If you were not appointed you wouldn’t have been a Deacon or Deaconess in the first place.
¶¶Luke 16:15 (KJV) says, “And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God”.
Until you are going through some challenges you don’t know how it feels to be in such situations.
As Christians, there are questions you shouldn’t ask other Christians. Stop tormenting other Christians why they don’t have children yet. It’s carnality. You are so busy with other people’s problem that you are not making progress yourself. Let your word be season with wisdom. You should speak words filled with grace. When your speak to people they should be encouraged and not discouraged. Be the one to pray for people rather than be the one tormenting them.
Don’t have time for trivialities. Follow the path that God has called you into. Your life is for the Glory of God and nothing else. Except Christ nobody died for you and nobody should take the place of Christ in you. Your life must be focused.
¶¶Galatians 2:20 (KJV) says, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me”.
Never be moved by what people say but by what God says in His Word. You have only one life. There is no duplicate therefore you must live it well. You are a child of God and you must live this life to its fullest. Some people have left the ministry that God gave to them to another that God didn’t give to them. At different times in your life you must know what God wants you to do. You must pray that God helps you to constantly function at the center of His will for you and nothing short of that.
Pray for our brethren that are facing challenges. Until you are going through some challenges you don’t know how it feels to be in such situations. Pray for those who don’t have children or those who are looking for a husband. Pray that they will have respite and that answers will come to them no matter what. Pray that they will cry no more and that the pains will go now. Pray that God will grant them their heart desires and that their faith fails no more. In the name of Jesus Christ. We call forth healing in their bodies, marriages and business. In the Name of Jesus! We declare that shame will be removed from their lives now. We declare that every pain will be gone from them in Jesus Name.
