Some people don’t have time to listen to the Word. They enjoy the worship and not the preaching.

¶¶Luke 5:17 (KJV) says, “And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them”.

The power of God present inside a meeting doesn’t look like it was there until somebody responds with a corresponding faith.

To activate and use electric power, you have to plug a device into it. In an atmosphere of his power, you need to plug in with your faith. To get a miracle, you must take away your eyes from your circumstances. When you come for a meeting, don’t look for physical pointers to know if the presence of God was there.

¶¶Acts 2:1-2 (KJV) says, “1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting”.

When God comes into a place He comes with His extraordinary power through the Holy Spirit. ¶¶Acts 2:3-4 (KJV) says, “3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance”.

When God wants to do anything in your life, He gives you His Spirit and His Word. God doesn’t want you sick. He will do anything and everything possible to make you well. Some Christians go through challenges in their job and marriage that they asked themselves what did they do wrong. It’s not because of what they did wrong, it is for the glory of God.

That there are challenges doesn’t mean that there are no solutions. It doesn’t matter how hopeless your situation is, it doesn’t matter if it looks like there is no answer, there is a solution. There are hopeless situations to people such that they do not have faith for healing anymore. There are times that the challenges are so much and some people will say to you, “don’t raise my hope”.

Three angels had visited Abraham and one of them was the Lord himself.

¶¶Genesis 18:9-14 (KJV) says, “9 And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent. 10 And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. 11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. 12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also? 13 And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? 14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son”.

Is there anything that is too hard for the Lord? Are you from a family where kidney problem runs through the whole family? They are demonic and they need casting out.

When you are dealing with the Lord, don’t look at how many years you have been in that condition. The things that are seen are temporal. There is nothing too hard for God. It doesn’t matter how bad your condition is, anything is possible. When you come to God, you need to be able to meet Him at your point of your faith. You need faith to be able to walk with Him. And never forget that God is looking for an opportunity to help you.

¶¶2 Chronicles 16:9 (NLT) says, “The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.”

It doesn’t matter how long you have tried, God is able to do anything for you. He asked, Is there anything to difficult for me? If things don’t change for you, it’s because of the things you didn’t know.

¶¶Mark 9:21-24 (KJV) says, “21 And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child. 22 And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us. 23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. 24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief”.

What does it mean to believe. You need to know the authority of the person talking to you. Then their is an action of faith required on your path. An angel approached Mary and said to her you will give birth to Jesus when the Spirit of God overshadows you. Mary believed.

You might have done all that you thought you knew. What if you take a step of faith today? You only need to believe! There is a time not to talk but too ask. Moses had to act before the Red Sea rather than talking. Never be satisfied with your situation. Hannah found herself in a bad situation and she refused to accept her condition as her final bus stop (1 Samuel 1:1-17).

Is it possible that there is hope? Why do people give up easily? It is because of lack of faith. You must learn to have faith in God, the God kind of faith. Don’t wait to see it with your five senses. See with the eyes of your Spirit – Mark 11:13-14, 20-24 (KJV).

It doesn’t matter the situation you are in right now, believe that a change has come as you pray. No matter what you have been facing, you are here, the gospel is the answer. Today, you need to change your address in the realm of the spirit. Stop comparing your life with those of other Christians who are passing through challenges.

In Him,
~Ali Papa.
