Stay The Course (9)

Beloved of God,

As a spiritual man, the presence of God, the anointing, the Word of God is what changes things for you. One encounter can change a man and move him 10 years ahead. One encounter can position us and makes us to bear fruits more than we have ever done before.

As you read in between the lines of this message, you are going to be thought the Word of God. There is going to be an empowerment and impartation. Every instruction that the Spirit of God is going to give to us is in your interest.

There are those who are slow to catch up with instructions so they watch when they see others celebrating. Never let the anointing become so common. Don’t get familiar in a negative way. Don’t get familiar with God, with a man of God and with the Word. God is here! ¶¶Matthew 18:20 (KJV) says, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them”.

As Christians, we should always expect the supernatural. We should always expect positioning, we should always expect a miracle. It’s good to pray. Spend time to pray. As you do, pray with passion. Pray from your heart. That’s the one God hears. God wants us to be in agreement with Him. We want to establish here on earth what he has already ordained. ¶¶Matthew 6:10 (KJV) says, “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven”.

God always have His people to pray to bring his Kingdom to stay in a falling world. You are the one in charge of the city where you are right now. If things go bad, businesses will suffer, the faith of men will fall them and we don’t want that to happen.

¶¶Habakkuk 3:2 (KJV) says, “O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy”.

Revival is a stirring up. Revival is a reawakening. Situations will arise and people will come to you crying that they want to know the Word of God.

Jesus said in ¶¶Luke 12:48 (KJV), “But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more”.

If God has given you more, He expects more from you. There are many around the world who do not have the opportunity to serve Him the way we do but they do so much more than we do. That should challenge you!

Don’t get too familiar with what you have. You must take your ministry seriously. Things have changed! The devil fears people that listen to the Holy Spirit. He knows he can no longer do anything to them. Satan prefers and like stubborn Christians who rebel against God. There are some leaders when they talk you will still see some carnality in them. You must never have a reservoir of carnality in you. There are friends you shouldn’t be keeping from the level you are now. A friend that is always causing you to talk wrongly and gossip about your Pastors or the church should be avoided. That somebody rushing to collect the Pastors bag doesn’t mean he is doing it with a sincere heart. Only God knows the one who does eye service, you and I can’t know.

When you are constantly moving because the Holy Spirit is telling you to do so, you will become dangerous to Satan. You can’t meet me on the same level at any point in time. I “Port” consistently as the spirit of God leads me. I’m not the one I used to be. I am changed man! I’m a Spirit in motion. Nothing can stop me. Hallelujah!

When we got born again, our walk with God is a walk of faith. ¶¶Hebrews 11:1-2 (KJV) says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report”.

The Bible also told us many times that ¶¶”the just shall live by faith” – Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11 and Hebrews 10:38.

The life we live is a life of faith. You might sing and say you are the seed of Abraham, if you do not walk in the same principles as Abraham did, you will not get the same result. When God called Abraham he obeyed without knowing where he was going.

Saul ended up badly because he couldn’t trust God. ¶¶1 Chronicles 10:13-14 (KJV) says, “So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it; 14 And enquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse”.

If you are like Judas, you will end up how he ended up. ¶¶Matthew 27:3-5 (KJV) says, “Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, 4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. 5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself”.

If you are like Hananiah , you will end up how he ended up. ¶¶Jeremiah 28:15-17 (KJV) says, “Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie. 16 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD. 17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month”.

Esau sought due repentance carefully and tearfully and he couldn’t find it.

That was because Esau was profane. He had no regard for sacred things. He sold his birthright for a plate of porridge. Esau cried but he couldn’t find repentance. ¶¶Hebrews 12:16-17 (NLT) says, “16 Make sure that no one is immoral or godless like Esau. He traded his birthright as the oldest son for a single meal. 17 And afterward, when he wanted his father’s blessing, he was rejected. It was too late for repentance, even though he wept bitter tears”.

Today, God calls Himself the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Esau.

Philippians 3:17-19 AMP says, “Brethren, together follow my example and observe those who live after the pattern we have set for you. For there are many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, who walk (live) as enemies of the cross of Christ (the Anointed One). They are doomed and their fate is eternal misery (perdition); their god is their stomach (their appetites, their sensuality) and they glory in their shame, siding with earthly things and being of their party”.

The Living Bible Translation of ¶¶Philippians 3:17-19 (TLB) says, “17 Dear brothers, pattern your lives after mine, and notice who else lives up to my example. 18 For I have told you often before, and I say it again now with tears in my eyes, there are many who walk along the Christian road who are really enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 Their future is eternal loss, for their god is their appetite: they are proud of what they should be ashamed of; and all they think about is this life here on earth”.

You can see Christ in the Word, in the Pastors and Deacons but if you can’t see it in the life of a Deacon, mark that person because they are following the wrong pattern. Everything they are involved with is everything that is against the Word. They are enemies of the cross of Christ. What they worship is what will satisfy them. Their god is their belly.

¶¶Philippians 3:20 (TLB) says, “But our homeland is in heaven, where our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, is; and we are looking forward to his return from there”.

Let’s look at Abraham. ¶¶Hebrews 11:8 (KJV) says,” By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went”.

This is faith at walk! Through faith, Abraham looked for a city. The Amplified Version of ¶¶Hebrews 11:8 (AMP) says, “[Urged on] by faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and went forth to a place which he was destined to receive as an inheritance; and he went, although he did not know or trouble his mind about where he was to go”.

If you don’t know how to walk with God by faith, you will never inherit the blessing. You must learn to obey without asking God how and why? Abraham left his father’s house and started dwelling in caves. He kept going without God showing him where he was going. Abraham is the Father of faith and you are His seed.

When you came to Christ you are His purchased possession. You don’t start your car in the morning and the car will tell you I am not driving you out today. Your shoe doesn’t tell you when your should wear it. You bought it and you decide how and where you use it. The car was designed to obey you. That’s what happened to you when toy came to Christ. You are His purchased possession. Faith will trust and follow. Abraham trusted and followed.

From caves Abraham became wealthy and had over 300 servants. The chief of them was Elierzer of Damascus. In Genesis 15:2 (KJV), “And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?”

The same Abraham became Abram of the Most High. ¶¶Genesis 14:19 (KJV) says, “And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:”

Abraham had soldiers born in His house. He never lost any war. It pays to obey and to walk by faith. Rate where you are now and see if you have grown spiritually.

¶¶Galatians 6:8 (KJV) says, “For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting”.

Where are you now spiritually? Have you grown? One of the signs of growth and maturity is what comes out of your mouth. You are more useful to God when you grow.

A child doesn’t become useful in helping their mum cut vegetable except when they have grown. A child becomes more useful to you when they have grown. That’s what happens when you grow spiritually. If you don’t grow you’ll become a burden to God spiritually.

¶¶Hebrews 5:10-14 (KJV) says, “10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. 11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. 12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil”.

The Amplified Version of ¶¶Hebrews 5:10-14 AMP says, “Being designated and recognized and saluted by God as High Priest after the order (with the rank) of Melchizedek. 11 Concerning this we have much to say which is hard to explain, since you have become dull in your [spiritual] hearing and sluggish [even slothful in achieving spiritual insight]. 12 For even though by this time you ought to be teaching others, you actually need someone to teach you over again the very first principles of God’s Word. You have come to need milk, not solid food. 13 For everyone who continues to feed on milk is obviously inexperienced and unskilled in the doctrine of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action), for he is a mere infant [not able to talk yet]! 14But solid food is for full-grown men, for those whose senses and mental faculties are trained by practice to discriminate and distinguish between what is morally good and noble and what is evil and contrary either to divine or human law”.

That counsel you are been given, you should be able to discriminate. You should be able to know when the devil is giving you a bad counsel. David was provoked by the devil to number Israel. ¶¶1 Chronicles 21:1-2 (KJV) says, “1 And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel. 2 And David said to Joab and to the rulers of the people, Go, number Israel from Beer-sheba even to Dan; and bring the number of them to me, that I may know it”.

The death angel came as a result and people started dying until David offered a sacrifice. A GOOD IDEA IS NOT ALWAYS A GOD IDEA.

1 Chronicles 21:7, 14-15, 26-27 (KJV) says, “7 And God was displeased with this thing; therefore he smote Israel. 14 So the LORD sent pestilence upon Israel: and there fell of Israel seventy thousand men. 15 And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the LORD beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD stood by the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite. 26 And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called upon the LORD; and he answered him from heaven by fire upon the altar of burnt offering. 27 And the LORD commanded the angel; and he put up his sword again into the sheath thereof”.

In another instance, David transported the ark of God in a way that wasn’t in line with God’s plan that led to the death Uzzah. ¶¶2 Samuel 6:3, 6-7 (KJV) says, “3 And they set the ark of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was in Gibeah: and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drave the new cart. 6 And when they came to Nachon’s threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it. 7 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God”.

The same ark that caused the death of Uzzah was a blessing to Obed-edom because he was asked to carry it to his house. ¶¶2 Samuel 6:10-12 (KJV) says, “10 So David would not remove the ark of the LORD unto him into the city of David: but David carried it aside into the house of Obed-edom the Gittite. 11 And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obed-edom, and all his household. 12 And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obed-edom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom into the city of David with gladness”.

Moses lost his ministry because of anger by striking the rock instead of talking to it. He already did that once and he wasn’t supposed to do that the second time. The time to smite the rock was in ¶¶Exodus 17:6 (KJV). It says, “Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel”.
The time to talk to the rock which is Christ was in ¶¶Numbers 20:8-12 (ESV). God said to him, 8 “Take the staff, and assemble the congregation, you and Aaron your brother, and tell the rock before their eyes to yield its water. So you shall bring water out of the rock for them and give drink to the congregation and their cattle.” 9 And Moses took the staff from before the LORD, as he commanded him. 10 Then Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock, and he said to them, “Hear now, you rebels: shall we bring water for you out of this rock?” 11 And Moses lifted up his hand and struck the rock with his staff twice, and water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their livestock. 12 And the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not believe in me, to uphold me as holy in the eyes of the people of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land that I have given them.”

Instruction is our life! Learn to follow instructions. ¶¶Hebrews 6:1 (AMP) says, “THEREFORE LET us go on and get past the elementary stage in the teachings and doctrine of Christ (the Messiah), advancing steadily toward the completeness and perfection that belong to spiritual maturity. Let us not again be laying the foundation of repentance and abandonment of dead works (dead formalism) and of the faith [by which you turned] to God”

Say this …
I refuse to be stagnated
I’m a spirit in motion
I refuse to be stagnated in one place in the doctrine of Jesus Christ

What you are doing is cooperating with the Spirit. There is a reason a matured man is called a matured man. He speaks wisdom. He takes responsibility. He is a problem solver. There is perfection that pertains to spiritual maturity.

When you grow unto maturity, you give without caring what others think. You are not moved when others think that your giving is a waste. There is a way matured people talk. There is a way you should talk.

There are words of endearment that should come out of you as a leader. ¶¶Hebrews 12:4-7 (AMP) says, “You have not yet struggled and fought agonizingly against sin, nor have you yet resisted and withstood to the point of pouring out your [own] blood. 5 And have you [completely] forgotten the divine word of appeal and encouragement in which you are reasoned with and addressed as sons? My son, do not think lightly or scorn to submit to the correction and discipline of the Lord, nor lose courage and give up and faint when you are reproved or corrected by Him; 6 For the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves, and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and welcomes to His heart and cherishes. 7 You must submit to and endure [correction] for discipline; God is dealing with you as with sons. For what son is there whom his father does not [thus] train and correct and discipline?”

¶¶Hebrews 12:8 (AMP) says, “Now if you are exempt from correction and left without discipline in which all [of God’s children] share, then you are illegitimate offspring and not true sons [at all]”.

I’m not a bastard. Bastards are vulnerable because they don’t have spiritual father’s. Your Pastor is your father and that’s why you should be successful and be making progress.

¶¶Hebrews 12:9 (AMP) says, “Moreover, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we yielded [to them] and respected [them for training us]. Shall we not much more cheerfully submit to the Father of spirits and so [truly] live?”

¶¶Hebrews 12:10-11 (AMP) says, “10 For [our earthly fathers] disciplined us for only a short period of time and chastised us as seemed proper and good to them; but He disciplines us for our certain good, that we may become sharers in His own holiness. 11 For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seems grievous and painful; but afterwards it yields a peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it [a harvest of fruit which consists in righteousness—in conformity to God’s will in purpose, thought, and action, resulting in right living and right standing with God]”.

Every discipline will eventually yield the right kind of fruit. Training and discipline is what characterizes a soldier. As a soldier you don’t entangle yourself with civilian affairs. ¶¶2 Timothy 2:4 (MSG) says, “A soldier on duty doesn’t get caught up in making deals at the marketplace. He concentrates on carrying out orders”.

¶¶1 Corinthians 9:24-27 (AMP) says, “24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but [only] one receives the prize? So run [your race] that you may lay hold [of the prize] and make it yours. 25 Now every athlete who goes into training conducts himself temperately and restricts himself in all things. They do it to win a wreath that will soon wither, but we [do it to receive a crown of eternal blessedness] that cannot wither. 26 Therefore I do not run uncertainly (without definite aim). I do not box like one beating the air and striking without an adversary. 27 But [like a boxer] I buffet my body [handle it roughly, discipline it by hardships] and subdue it, for fear that after proclaiming to others the Gospel and things pertaining to it, I myself should become unfit [not stand the test, be unapproved and rejected as a counterfeit]”.

The Living Bible Translation of ¶¶1 Corinthians 9:26-27 (TLB) says, “26 So I run straight to the goal with purpose in every step. I fight to win. I’m not just shadow-boxing or playing around. 27 Like an athlete I punish my body, treating it roughly, training it to do what it should, not what it wants to. Otherwise I fear that after enlisting others for the race, I myself might be declared unfit and ordered to stand aside”.

What have you done with your Deaconery? How many souls have you won? Somebody says he must win souls so as not to stay in a boys quarter in heaven.

Solomon was a son of adoption. He was disciplined by his father and only get comforted by his mother. He said in ¶¶Proverbs 4:1-3 (KJV), “Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding. 2 For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law. 3 For I was my father’s son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother”.

Solomon was a man that takes to instructions. He was different from His other brothers. He said in ¶¶Proverbs 4:4-13 (KJV), “4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. 5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. 6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. 7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. 8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. 9 She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee. 10 Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many. 11 I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. 12 When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble. 13 Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life”.

Take hold of instructions, it is your life. Solomon had two brothers, Absalom and Adonijah. They died because they were spoilt and didn’t know what Solomon knew. Why should a christian leader have a deviant behaviour? Why are you the only person that thinks you know more than your Pastor?

Win souls, preach the gospel. Keep away malice. Corporate with each other in your cell and in your church. If you are the one member your leader is always careful about then you should go and pray. If you say to others that you are the one that your Pastor doesn’t assign a task to because he knows you are not the type to be pushed around, then you are a “bastard”. Don’t be proud of it! You were born to be different. How did it enter into Absalom’s mind to rebel against his father and proclaimed himself king?

As a leader, you must know who you are. We have a unique mandate and message. A son doesn’t decide to walk out of church. Such people are bastards. A son in the house never goes out of the house because there are no options or alternatives for him.

Glory to God! Today, I have done my part of giving you instructions and the minds of God add led. God will hold you responsible for doing all that I have told you and shared with you. If you were asked to coordinate a Church don’t become another person there. It’s possible that you have not be trained but don’t become another person there. Ask the one that sent you to teach you what to do.

¶¶Philippians 2:13 (KJV) says, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure”.

Learn to train yourself by the spirit of God. Stop grumbling. Why is it that you can be so effective in your job but you are not as effective in church? You should be effective in both your job and in church.

¶¶3 John 1:2 (KJV) says “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth”.

Every time you grow spiritually, everything that you need to pull through in what you are doing are provided and supplied abundantly by the Spirit of God.

Go ahead and gives him thanks.

As a good soldier endure hardness. ¶¶2 Timothy 2:3 (KJV) says,” Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ”. You have been set on fire. Your cell will not be the same again. Your family will not be the same again. Your church will not be the same again. Your city will not be the same again.

¶¶2 Timothy 4:1-2 (AMP), “I CHARGE [you] in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, Who is to judge the living and the dead, and by (in the light of) His coming and His kingdom: 2 Herald and preach the Word! Keep your sense of urgency [stand by, be at hand and ready], whether the opportunity seems to be favorable or unfavorable. [Whether it is convenient or inconvenient, whether it is welcome or unwelcome, you as preacher of the Word are to show people in what way their lives are wrong.] And convince them, rebuking and correcting, warning and urging and encouraging them, being unflagging and inexhaustible in patience and teaching”.

You must be a soul winner at all times and in every condition. Anything you do and everything you do should result in soul winning. You must be instant in and out of season. ¶¶ 2 Timothy 4:2 (KJV) says, “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine”.

See men as souls not as trees. Personalize the vision, make it yours. Paul said in ¶¶1 Corinthians 9:16 (KJV), “For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!”

Say this..
I’m a soul winner.
I’m an uncommon soldier in the army of God.

The Spirit of God has equipped you and empowered you for another level. Go ahead and pray in the Holy Ghost because something is happening. It’s not like before! It’s not like before!

Hallelujah! A lot of things are been organised by the Holy Spirit for your future. Accept it for it’s in your best interest. What will give you a victorious life has already been given to you. For everyone that requires healing, that healing is yours. Don’t focus on whatever is wrong in your body, focus on God! ¶¶James 5:14 (KJV) says, “Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord”.

It’s over! That sickness is destroyed from your body. Don’t ever let that come back.

When Moses laid his hand on Joshua, the Spirit of wisdom came upon him. I say lay hands upon you, you will never be the sane again. Never!

Open your mouth and prophesy now! The Spirit of God is upon you! Every struggle is over. It has happened! It has happened! It has happened! Glory! Glory!! Glory!!!

There are many things that the Spirit of God has removed you from, don’t go back there. There are many of you that need to go and apologise, go and do that now. Don’t waste time about it because it is what has been slowing you down.

Go ahead and give Him thanks!

God bless you!
Ali Papa.
