That Same Spirit

faldju_xqzy-caryle-tylkowskiBeloved,

There is a difference between the faith you received when you receive salvation and the one you need to cause changes. I have often said, put me anywhere and I will come out a success.

¶¶1 Corinthians 12:7-12 (KJV) says, “7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ”.

There are times in your life that you need to perform some miracles and you need the spirit of faith.

The Bible tells us that Abraham was strong in faith. ¶¶ Romans 4:7, 18-20 (KJV) says, “7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. 18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. 19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;”.

We are told that Abraham was strong in faith. That wasn’t an ordinary faith. You have to transcend the natural realm by raising your hands in praise even though the situations are not favourable.

Somebody might be sick and be saying I am not stick, I am healed. The other person in the same condition and in his natural senses will say he is sick and can’t get up.

¶¶Acts 14:8-11 (KJV), “8 And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked: 9 The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, 10 Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked. 11 And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men”.

One of the things that work with the spirit of faith is speaking. ¶¶Psalms 116:10 (KJV) says, “I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:”

Why do we have brethren who have challenges and they don’t know what to do? It is because they haven’t put the Word to work.

¶¶Acts 19:20 (KJV) says, “So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed”.

Paul quoted David when he said in ¶¶2 Corinthians 4:13 (KJV), “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;”

When you hear bad news, activate the power. When David said in ¶¶Psalms 116:10 (KJV), “I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted”, it was because he was in trouble.

David wasn’t there when Paul said I also believed. If we have the same Spirit of Faith we will believe too.

David had so much enemies but he knew that God was always with him. We have the same Spirit of Faith. Nothing will ever discourage you anymore. The spirit of faith is working.

¶¶Matthew 17:19-20 (KJV) says, “19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? 20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you”.

When it looked like something bad has happened, when it looked like you have failed, you have loss that job, lost that pregnancy, don’t cry, you haven’t failed. Put everything behind you because change is coming.

If an unbeliever can lose his job and move on to another how much more of you? When you are pregnant and you start bleeding, don’t cry. Stop announcing your failures. If your baby is not feeling well stop announcing it.

¶¶Revelation 12:11 (KJV) says, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death”.

Some people are negatively programmed that they hardly forgive themselves. Don’t be like that! If you are diagnosed with Leukemia (A cancer of the blood-forming tissues, hindering the body’s ability to fight infection), remember that you have the same Spirit of Faith

Say this…
I have the life of God in me.
I take advantage of that life.
I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

In Him,
~Ali Papa.
