Your Thoughts Are Powerful

Beloved of God,

Studies have shown that the root cause of cancer is bitterness and that is why women are always having cancer. Women are always very bitter.

¶¶1 John 4:20 (KJV) says, “If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?”

You must first love the people around you. Forgiveness is a virtue of the spirit. Learn to forgive once and quickly. If you say you can’t forgive your husband, is Christ inside that heart?

¶¶John 15:13 (KJV) says, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends”.

The things of this world are not real and they pass away quickly.

¶¶1 Corinthians 9:24-27 (TLB) says, ¶¶24 In a race everyone runs, but only one person gets first prize. So run your race to win. 25 To win the contest you must deny yourselves many things that would keep you from doing your best. An athlete goes to all this trouble just to win a blue ribbon or a silver cup, but we do it for a heavenly reward that never disappears. 26 So I run straight to the goal with purpose in every step. I fight to win. I’m not just shadow-boxing or playing around. 27 Like an athlete I punish my body, treating it roughly, training it to do what it should, not what it wants to. Otherwise I fear that after enlisting others for the race, I myself might be declared unfit and ordered to stand aside”.

The “I” in this scripture is not the body but the spirit. It’s your spirit that disciplines the body. A child is a child any day. ¶¶Galatians 4:1 (KJV) says, “Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;”

We are on a project and one of the assignment we have now is to tame our body. There are too many people that their body tells them what to do and that’s wrong. Let your inward man dominated your outward man, your feelings and your emotions. Let your senses be brought under control.

¶¶Ecclesiastes 7:9 (KJV) says, “Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools”.

In taming your body, you must never take seriously what people say to you especially while driving. There are men when they are talking and if their wives should say a word, anger will rise in them. When you allow your inward man take control of your outward man, you will be able to control your mouth.

¶¶Proverbs 15:1 (KJV) says, “A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger”.

You should never be subject to your feelings again. It’s a project and you must do it. The things that control those that don’t have Christ shouldn’t control you.

¶¶Proverbs 25:28 (KJV) says, “He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls”.

You must control your spirit. Without that you are like a man without a defense. Your are naked and if anything happens to you, you will be wounded.

Your thoughts play a vital role in your development process. The way you think play a vital role in the way and directions your life goes.

¶¶2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (KJV) says, “3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

We should always remember to memorize scriptures because if you can memorize them, you can fight with them and win always. The renewal of your mind in God’s Word is what gives you a sure guide in life.

¶¶Romans 12:2 (KJV) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

¶¶Proverbs 4:23 (KJV) says, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life”.

Your attitude of mind must be different from others. Stop saying that you are going to fall ill because it’s raining. Stop fighting a battle that God didn’t give you. Have an attitude that makes you relate to people and to God in a different way. You must change the way your mind thinks. Be careful and mind your source of information.

In Him,
~Ali Papa.
