He Gave You His Word – Do Something With It!

Words are powerful. Words carry authority. Watch your words. Proverbs 6:2 says “You are snared by the words of your mouth; You are taken by the words of your mouth”.

God created the world with spoken words. And because God dwells in us, therefore our words also carry authority. “For assuredly, I say to you . . . he will have whatever he says” – Mark 11:23.

The words you speak are important and carry more weight than you may realize. Words can get you into trouble. And words can deliver you.

Isaiah 50:4 says, “The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned”.

The most powerful and life – giving words in the universe are those spoken by God the Creator. Fortunately for us, some of what God has said has been written down, for our benefit, in the Bible. Others are given to us through His Spirit in us, others through our friends and others through our Pastors. We should at all times speak words that are in agreement with what God says.

Know what to do with what God has told you just as Joseph knew what to do with what his father told him. Everything you’ll ever need this year is in His Word. With this understanding, be bold to call yourself what God has called you. When we do, the power of God is released. Don’t ever allow your happiness to depend on something you may lose. Your happiness begins and ends with His Word on your lips. God promised that if you will stay in faith, He will take what’s meant for your harm and use it for your good.

My question for you today: Why worry when you don’t have to? Caring is an option. Focus on the positive. Ignore the negative. Don’t dig up in doubt what you planted in faith. Light a fire on the inside. You have the seed of Almighty God. Don’t allow something small to keep you from God’s best. Decree a thing and it shall be established… Death and life are in the power of your tongue. So don’t complain. Decree a thing!

In Him,
Ali Papa.
