When you complain about your job and your boss, you are the problem. Whenever you are tired of hearing the same word over and over again and wishing you have a new pastor or church, you are the problem not the pastor or Church. If you don’t use the power of your mouth for positive confessions, you are, indeed, part of the problem. Charles Swindoll has said life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% of how you react to it. I agree with him. Instead of complaining begin to declare and prophecy with your mouth. Your mouth is not given to you for Coke and Pepsi alone. Your mouth was given to you to plot the graph of your life (Mark 11:23).
Stop giving someone else the job of making you happy. It doesn’t matter how difficult your challenges are today, no matter how far under the circumstances you may be, in twenty four hours you can be back on top! Don’t become your own problem because of your attitude towards His Word. Never give up hope, because you never know, it could still happen.
I know this sounds very impossible but you must remember that patience is not the ability to wait, but how you act while you’re waiting. What is your attitude towards His Word? Good, bad or indifferent, every decision you make can be traced to an outcome or circumstances in your life. Today is not the day to start complaining, today is the day to start making the necessary adjustments in your life. Look for something positive in each day, even if some days you have to look a little harder.
Don’t let the troubles of life bring you down. No matter how big your struggle, God has the power to conquer all things. Take the first step in faith. you don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step. Stop blaming God, He has given you His Word. Stop blaming your country, you are blessed not to be in a war zone. Stop blaming everyone around you, rise up in faith, stand up on God’s Word and fight for your life. Get mad at Satan. Get mad at that sickness. Get angry with poverty and start giving to others. Tell yourself you are no longer part of the problem but part of the solution.
Be miserable or motivate yourself in that situation. Whatever has to be done, it’s always your choice. Inside of every problem lies an opportunity. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
Stay the course and on purpose! TODAY will never come again… Be a blessing and not a problem to your world. Declare your abundance, saying, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1) Speak forth your healing, saying, “By Jesus’ stripes I am healed!” (Isaiah 53:5) As you do, you will have whatever you say!
