In this life, some people are going to leave you, but that’s not the end of your story. That’s the end of their part in your story. When you find yourself in a place where you know you need His perfection, ask Him to shield you because God says, “I am your shield and your exceedingly great reward”- (Genesis 15:1). When you lose something or someone, don’t think of it as a loss, accept it as the gift that gets you on the path you were meant to travel on. All things, including those that left you, those that are fighting you, those who are working overtime to see that you don’t get promoted, those who are talking you down, works together for your good.
Do not regret growing older; it is a privilege denied to many. Do not ask yourself or God, why me; you are never alone and God understands how you feel. Do not compare yourself to others; you are not running the same race with them. Do not regret getting married if it has become a silent hell for you; it is a privilege that your heart is still beating. Do not regret anything because the Lord is your strength… (Psalm 28:7). You may have failed yourself but keep walking in confidence. Adversity is what makes a man strong! So keep your head up, shoulders back, give up the stuff that weighs you down, and stay the course with no apologies for who you are. Wherever self-worth goes, respect follows. Today is your day, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven – Mathew 5:16.
Be of good courage for He is with you. If He is with you, who can stand against you? Be of good courage, be of good courage for the battle is won unto us. God said to King Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20:15 NIV, “Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s”.
Are their battles in your life that requires God’s intervention today? That battle is not yours! A YES from God is all you need. Don’t rush anything. Don’t question His timing. When the time is right, it will happen. Be positive, patient and persistent. Just remember to PRAY before you over think. PRAY before complaining to anyone. PRAY before calling anyone for help. PRAY because God is your way maker. PRAY until your situation changes. Miracles happen every day, so never stop believing. God can change things very quickly in your life. Allow your life to preach more loudly than your lips. Don’t give up on the things God has placed in your heart. Do not be withdrawn in your heart. Speak the right language, the language of Zion and “…be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus” – 2 Timothy 2:1. Take advantage of the grace that’s in Christ Jesus; be mindful of its benefits, don’t close the opened doors already opened for you with your mouth. Keep pushing and praying knowing that He will give you direction and He will fight your battles for you.
May God continually listen to your prayers. May He not ignore your plea. May He hear you and answer you when you call Him – Psalm 55:1-2. In Jesus Name, Amen!
