Change And Turns Will Come

Dearly Beloved,

Everyone you meet is going through a hard battle you know nothing about in their own world. They are going through some stuff whether you see it or not. To some it’s a big mess, to others, a “blessed mess” but they are all GOING THROUGH something, COMING OUT of something or ABOUT TO GO THROUGH something. Some are broken and are just better at hiding their pains than others.

You don’t need a prophet to show you that things are truly not okay with many people. Everything “seems” to be wrong. The economy is in a very bad shape. The politicians are out of ideas. The economists are out of ideas and don’t know what monetarily policy to introduce next. People are without job. Unfortunately, not everyone with a job is earning the desired salary. But that is not as bad as those who have been working and haven’t been paid in the past seven months. Talk to three people you know and one of them is out of job because their previous employer has downsized or they are completely out of business.

You have many around us who though they have a good paying job but they are battling with a medical condition – a condition that has become a devourer in their pockets. How can they be when their earnings cannot even cover the medical bills and those of their loved ones? How can they be happy when they constantly watch their loved ones battle with life threatening medical issues day and night? How can they be happy when their two year old child is on medication day and night?

Many marraiges are going through tough and turbulent times. Lovers are turning to strangers in the same house. Spouses are physically together but they are far apart from each other emotionally. My heart goes out to those who have remarried, and their children are not able to get along with their spouse’s children? Worst still are those in silent hell in their marraiges. They are smiling, they look happy on the outside but not so on the inside. Only they knows that things are not okay.

While I acknowledge that things are not okay because of your feelings and what you can see with your physical eyes, I want to also tell you that everything is okay. Everything will work out right depending on the standpoint from where you are looking at your situation. That situation didn’t come to break you. It came to make you and to build you up! Even when trials break you, it is so that God can bless you and use you for His purpose! You are more than a conqueror through Christ which strengtheneth you. That problem [sea] before you is waiting for you to divide it. None of your failures can excempt you from God’s blessings. It doesn’t matter how bad things are right now, there is hope for you. Everything else might have failed, but God is still faithful. His Word is still the same.

Psalms 37:23-25 (CEV) says, “If you do what the LORD wants, he will make certain each step you take is sure. 24 The LORD will hold your hand, and if you stumble, you still won’t fall. 25 As long as I can remember, good people have never been left helpless, and their children have never gone begging for food”.

Discouragement will always be a part of life, but refuse to be defeated. You might be cast down because of your present challanges, but refuse to be destroyed. Stop complaining. God is at work and just in case you have forgotten this truth, Job 22:29 (WBS) says, “When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, there is exaltation; and he shall save the humble person”. The (CEV) version says, “When others are disgraced, God will clear their names in answer to your prayers”. The Living Bible says, “If you are attacked and knocked down, you will know that there is someone who will lift you up again. Yes, he will save the humble”.

You are what God says you are and not what your situation or those around you says you are. Whenever their is a casting down, you know what to say… it’s a lifting up for you. Don’t join men to speak like they do. Talk differently because you belong to a kingdom where you play by a different set of rules. The power you need to change your situation is in your tongue (Mark 11:23-24). When you observe that men are cast down, God’s instruction is SAY, DECREE, ANNOUNCE that there is a lifting up. So your response should be, there is a lifting up. If everyone around you are seeing demons, don’t join them, see angels instead. If they are saying there is no way, tell them there is one. The lifting will only come when you say that there is one. Don’t give up when others have. See the best when presented with the worst. Refuse to cry alongside with the world. Though you are in the world, you are not of this world. It doesn’t matter what comes your way, keep standing on the Word and lifting up what the Lord has said! Change and turns will come.

Stand up, stand firm and stand tall. You have no place at the bottom. Stop looking down. Stop looking at your mistakes. Stop looking at those who left you. Stop looking at those broken places. Stop measuring your struggles with what you can see with your physical eyes. Nothing can ever keep you down forever. Refuse to cast down your thoughts. Fill it with the Word. This tough time that you are in and seems to have no end in sight is actually the perfect time for your elevation. So don’t gawk it. Don’t allow your situation to change your confession. What is cast down will be lifted up. Set your mind for success. Set your mind for the higher life in Christ. Cast down anything negative and any thought that brings fear, worry, or unbelief. Keep routing for the lifting up. Every dream will be fulfilled. Every goal will be achieved.

There is an evil day for every man (Ephesians 6:13) that’s why the Bible says: WHEN men are cast down, not if! But there is a confident assurance that every situation has an expiration date. There is a confident assurance that every situation comes with its own solution. God is raising you up as a champion. He is raising you up so that you can stand on mountains. He is raising you up to be able to walk on stormy seas. Let that be your testimony because your life will be measured by your tongue, your speech, and your words.

I know its hard to be positive when it “looks like” the odds are against you. I know life itself is full of ups and down but where God guides, He provides. Everything is going to turn around for your good. Declare that you are strong when on His shoulders. Declare that He is capable of lifting you up again from your present situation. Declare that God is able to clear your name in answer to your prayers. Declare with your mouth that there is a lifting up for you.

Look away from your situations. Set your gaze on how to lift up others who are cast down. Your hands are the hands of God and they are there to lift others up. Don’t give up on yourself, for when men are cast down, there is a lifting up for you. Don’t talk about your situation. Talk to it. Never allow the challenges you face overwhelm you. Whatever challenges you might be facing today are what you’ve been built, prepared and fashioned for. None of us is given more than he or she can handle: “God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able” (1 Corinthians 10:13). Rather than focus on the trouble, act on the Word, and you’ll surely have a testimony. I see you picking up the pieces again.

I pray that mercy, peace and love will be yours in abundance again (Jude 1:2). May you always find strength in God’s love and faithfulness. What is bound will be unbound. You shall see favour and increase. There is a lifting up for you and your family, blessings upon blessings in Jesus Name! There is a lifting up in your Spirit in the way in which you should go. You are blessed in your going out and in your coming in. There is a lifting up in the shaping of things to come. The Holy Ghost will lead and guide you in the right way. The Lord is going to lift you up and He is going to carry you out of trouble. You will escape because you will have a direct intervention of God.

Be blessed in the Lord’s Grace.

    • Thank you Tabby. Every dream that is from God will always be based on His Word. For example, Satan will not tell you in your dream that your future is bright. Satan will not give you directions that will lead you and help you in fulfilling God’s purpose for you. Once you have a dream that is outside the Word of God, then it is most certainly from Satan and not from God.

      • That’s fine. I think the best way to do that is to do a “Word Check”. You must know what the Word of God is saying concerning what you are doing and trying to achieve. Sometimes the Word of God might be against what you are doing and at such a time you must allow the Holy Spirit to lead you.

Jesus reminded us in Mark 10:19 (WEB) , “You know the commandments: ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not give false testimony,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘Honor your father and mother.’”

It’s God’s Word that we should honour our father but if a father is abusing the child, he or she might be forced to go against the Word of God and not honor the Father.

        I hope this helps 🙂

  2. Abraham for example had to give a false testimony of who Sarah is so as to protect himself and protect Sarah.

    Genesis 20:2-3 (KJV) says,
“And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah. 3 But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man’s wife”.

God didn’t rebuke Abraham for the false testimony instead God came to Abimelech in a dream warning him to stay clear of Sarah.

This is not to say it is fine to go outside His Word when it suits our situation but we can by the leading of His Spirit depending on the situation or circumstances.
