Thank God Because It Happened

Don’t be sober because of that “blessed mess”, smile and thank God because it happened. Your tomorrow is still greater than your today and your yesterday.

“Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God” – Philippians 4:6.

If the devil tries to get you to worry today, simply go back, reread this verse, and keep claiming it, keep saying it and keep thanking God for all that happened to you.

In Him,
~Ali Papa.

Guest blog: The Battle of the Mind

Today I publish a Guest blog article from David Nlenanya about the battlefield of the mind

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds – 2 Corinthians 10:4.

The battle of the mind is an unseen battle, it is not a battle to be fought with physical ammunition’s. Many thoughts pass through the mind daily. These thoughts can be good or bad, positive or negative. You may not be able to prevent a thought from coming into your mind, but you can surely prevent it from gaining control of your mind.

When a negative thought is coming into your mind, deliberately and prayerfully refuse to give it a voice. Speak the Word of God that addresses such situation out loud with conviction. For instance a pregnant woman filled with the thought of premature birth is an oppressive thought that can be renounced and dealt with using the Word of God like the one found in Exodus 23:26. It says, “No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days”.

If your mind is filled with the fullness of God’s grace and Word, strength and courage will be imparted on you.

You are blessed.
~ David.
