It’s very easy for the enemy to trap us into hiding in shame and fear. I have seen many people going into hiding because they were dismissed from work for fraud. There are those that have left Church because of one challenge or the other. There are those who are running away from their broken marraiges, abusive partner or from past poor decisions that brought brought shame to them.
I’m encouraging you to stop running away from your problems because that will only increase the distance from the solution. It’s time for you to stop running away from things that are uncomfortable and hard. It’s time to confront issues in your life. Learn to set your mind in things above and not on earthly things (Colossians 3:2). Stop running away from your calling. Understand that God is not mad at you irrespective of your circumstances .
If your sun has set, it will rise again. Darkness always has an expiration date. It will not last forever. “Weeping may endure for a night but JOY is coming!” (Psalm 30:5).
“If God says his chosen ones are acceptable to him, can anyone bring charges against them? 34 Or can anyone condemn them? No indeed! Christ died and was raised to life, and now he is at God’s right side, speaking to him for us. 35 Can anything separate us from the love of Christ? Can trouble, suffering, and hard times, or hunger and nakedness, or danger and death?” – Romans 8:33-35 (CEV).
Don’t live your life based on what other people think of you. Don’t live your life performing for people. Wear what you want to wear. Go where God wants you to go. Be who God wants you to be. Every show at some point must come to an end. Don’t live your life trying to make people happy by being who they think you should be. Don’t live your life according to other people’s approval. Live your life the way God wants you to. Don’t live your life competing and comparing yourself to others. Don’t live your life upset, negative or bitter about your situation. Embrace the place where you are and make the best of that “blessed mess”.
Every challenge you face is an opportunity for God to prove Himself strong on your behalf. So don’t mistake delays for DESTINY. You may be delayed, but you have not been denied! If your sun has set, it will rise again. Darkness always has an expiration date. It will not last forever. “Weeping may endure for a night but JOY is coming!” (Psalm 30:5).
I pray that you will not miss one step. May you have clear words for the times and direction for the days and weeks ahead. May you have joy and peace from God today (Ephesians 1:2).
