Beloved of God,
If you want to fly, you will have to give up the stuff that weighs you down, you will have to get rid of your emotional baggage from your past relationships or your past employer. You will have to get rid of anger, it is unnecessary baggage. You will have to come out of your pity party, it’s not a comfortable place to stay. You will have to stop making excuses for your situation, forgive those that have hurt you and forgive yourself.
While you are wasting your breath complaining about life, someone out there is breathing their last. Appreciate what you have. Today is a new day, you can make progress or you can make excuses, but you can’t do both. Life has no remote, you will have to get up and fix it yourself. Appreciate what you have — it is a blessing from God. What you do not have can often be a blessing in disguise. Stop blaming God and everyone for your situations. Job did that but we know it wasn’t God. He said in Job 19:6, 13-14 (MSG), “6 Tell it to God — He’s the one behind all this, He’s the one who dragged me into this mess. 13 God alienated my family from me; 14 everyone who knows me avoids me. My relatives and friends have all left; house guests forget I ever existed”.
Everybody’s got challenges in life. Everybody is going to have challenges. They’re just different challenges. There is nothing facing you that God doesn’t have any clue about but when you see with the eyes of men, you will talk like Job, you will suffer for long and your situation will not change. It doesn’t matter what you see now, see the way God sees. At the valley of dry bones, Ezekiel saw “old, dry bones that were scattered everywhere across the ground” Ezekiel 37:1 (TLB), but God saw life, He saw a nation, He was seeing Israel, His own people.
Stop blaming God, give Him thanks instead. Life isn’t about finding yourself, it’s about creating yourself.
What can you see in your situation? What can you see where you are? What can you see in His Word? Learn to appreciate what you have before it turns into what you had. Learn to appreciate what you have before its gone. It’s possible you have done all you know to do but not everyone will appreciate what you have done. God saw everything. Thank Him for your situations, they are not there to defeat you. God is waiting for you to rise above them. God is waiting for you to put your faith in Him to work. Stop blaming God, give Him thanks instead. Life isn’t about finding yourself, it’s about creating yourself. Realize that you are God’s child so look around and appreciate what you have and be thankful for all that you can do. Appreciate the good people that come to your life because they are hard to come by. Once you start to really appreciate what you have, you will realize that God has been blessing you.
