God didn’t promise you a door that people can shut on you. He said in Revelation 3:8 (TLB), “I know you well; you aren’t strong, but you have tried to obey and have not denied my Name. Therefore, I have opened a door to you that no one can shut”. If it doesn’t open, it’s not your door.
If you are struggling inside an open door, check if it was a man or God that opened the door for you. When you choose His ways, you become one with Him and experience His peace and blessing all the days of your life! Proverbs 10:22 (NIV) says, “The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it”.
Stop struggling in that marriage or relationship, rest! Stop struggling with your health, rest! Stop struggling with your finances, rest! Stop struggling in your job, rest! Stop struggling with your academic work, rest! God didn’t create you to live a beggarly life. He didn’t create you to be restless. God is at rest and if you are His child you should be at rest too.
Don’t be afraid to walk right up to God and ask for what He is ready to give you. Take His mercy, accept His help and seize from your own struggles.
Hebrews 4:9-10, 12, 16 (MSG) says, “The promise of “arrival” and “rest” is still there for God’s people. 10 God himself is at rest. And at the end of the journey we’ll surely rest with God. 12 God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey. 16 So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help”.
If you are not at peace about anything on the inside of your heart right now, if you’re feeling an uneasiness, that’s a sign that you should stop and pray and make sure you are in line with God’s direction. Don’t be afraid to walk right up to God and ask for what He is ready to give you. Take His mercy, accept His help and seize from your own struggles.
