If Your Evil Day Has Come, Don’t Cry!

God hasn’t changed His mind about you! Not for once! His Word concerning you is for all time. He made a promise: you will always be the head and not the tail (Deuteronomy 28:13). That promise is for you and it’s for today. Your present situation or circumstances might not look so but in the eyes of God you are the head and not the tail. In the eyes of God nothing can succefully come against not when He has said that all things (with the exception of none) work together for your good.

I don’t know the challenges that are before you today or in which street of life your situation has kept you but irrespective of whatever it is that is happening around you: don’t give up, don’t be impatient, be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave, courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting – For he will never disappoint you! (Psalms 27:14).

If you think you have done all that you know to do, complained to everyone that cares to listen, fought hard to keep your partner in that relationship or marriage, consulted men and institutions and you are not seeing the desired changes, it’s time for you to consider your God in that situation.

Romans 4:19-21 (CEV) says, “Abraham’s faith never became weak, not even when he was nearly a hundred years old. He knew that he was almost dead and that his wife Sarah could not have children. 20 But Abraham never doubted or questioned God’s promise. His faith made him strong, and he gave all the credit to God. 21 Abraham was certain that God could do what he had promised”.

If your evil day has come, don’t cry! If you are just coming out of one, give Him glory! If yours is yet to come, fear not!

Today, fight a good fight of faith in that situation. Quit complaining and quit blaming yourself for all that has gone wrong. Those challenges before you are not there to kill you but for you to conquer them and overcome. They are there for you to display the character of God in you. Those challenges came to test your faith in God. That’s why Ephesians 6:13 (CEV) says, “… put on all the armor that God gives. Then when that evil day comes, you will be able to defend yourself. And when the battle is over, you will still be standing firm”.

If your evil day has come, don’t cry! If you are just coming out of one, give Him glory! If yours is yet to come, fear not! Whenever you go through challenges, God’s desire isn’t to “reimburse” you, His desire is to promote you beyond where you were before! So keep standing. Keep believing. Keep hoping. Keep declaring His Word and keep meditating on His goodness knowing that God rewards the people who seek after Him.

May God cause things to turn around on your behalf – on your job, in your family, and with your finances. Praying that no man will be able to deny that it is a supernatural happening.

In Him,
~Ali Papa.
