Put Yourself Together

Dear Someone,

I have said it here: (http://wp.me/p6kwtu-10l) before that there must come a time in your life, there must come a time in that relationship or that job when you have to choose between turning the page and closing the book. There must come a time when you have to choose between trusting God and His Word and saying NO to the devil.

Learn to stay away from people who make you feel that you are hard to love. The problem is not you, it’s them. In life people will love you and people will hate you. And none of it will have anything to do with you. Don’t let your beauty to be defined by people who have eyes but can’t see with them. Beauty is about living your life and being happy with yourself inside and out and not worrying about what people think of you.

The confusion you are in can only become clear when you put the mess behind you. It can only become clear when you realize that what a boy or girl thinks about you has literally nothing to do about you.

For how long are you going to continue to live a confused life? How long are you going to keep waiting to hear from God when He has given you His Spirit already? How long are you going to keep on keeping on in that relationship that you know is leading you nowhere? How long are you going to continue lying to yourself? God gave you His Spirit to help and to guide you. When last did you listen to His voice? When last did you obey His instructions? When will you quit saying that you are confused?

Are you aware that your confused mind can only begin to think right and clearly when you start listening to that still small voice from His Spirit. The confusion you are in can only become clear when you put the mess behind you. It can only become clear when you realize that what a boy or girl thinks about you has literally nothing to do about you. So put yourself together and be there for yourself.

Beloved of God, you are still confused about what to do because you are holding on to something that God is asking you to let go. You are living a frustrated life because you have failed to realize that you don’t have the power to fix your spouse or your partner. Only God can fix them. You are going insane trying to be there for him or her because you think it’s your responsibility to fix someone who’s not ready to be fixed. Stop struggling to fix what you are not qualified for. Jesus already died for them. Don’t lose your life trying to help them. Don’t break your heart loving him or her. Don’t lose your life lying to yourself in the name of love. You are not and you shouldn’t be a reflection of the people who cannot love you.

Why does it take you so long to name yourself whenever you are asked to name the things you love? Why? When will you grow up? When will you start loving yourself? When will you stop looking for someone who cares about your feelings? When will you stop lying to yourself that you can’t live without him or her? When will you realize that none of us are easy to date, deal with, or please all the time? When will you stop trying to constantly prove your worth to someone and forgetting your own value? Why and when child of God? When will you realize that not everyone is going to love you the way you need it?

Please don’t break your heart trying to love someone. Don’t lose yourself trying to love someone (http://wp.me/p6kwtu-ZB), be the calm to your own storm, put yourself together and find someone who has a heart for you.

It is my prayer that one day, you will be as happy as you are pretending to be right now in that relationship. And may you never find yourself saying, “I’m so broken, needy and hurting. My heart is pierced through and I’m so wounded” – Psalms 109:22.

In Him,
~Ali Papa.
