Refuse To Be Swayed

Beloved of God,

Exactly one year ago today, The New York Times forecast predicted Hillary Clinton of having 93% chance of becoming the 45th President of the United States of America.

Today, we have Donald Trump as the President of the United States of America. While Vistas of Hope is not affiliated to any political party or political ideology, there is a lesson to be drawn from here.

Stay the course, focus on your purpose and don’t be swayed. Let the haters fuel you and not distract you. You had a purpose before anyone had an opinion.

In life, you will be criticized for being you, for being bad, for being egoistic, for being braggadocio, for being rich or poor, for being “Donald Trump”, until you hit jackpot, and then you’re criticized for not being enough of yourself. If that’s you, no criticism should come as a surprise because for everything you do in life you will be criticized for it. It’s whether you give up or keep going. The media will be against you, they will shame you, your friends will be against you, the economy of your nation will be against you, your government will be against you, the devil will be against you and your parents might even be against you but stay the course. Stay the course, focus on your purpose and don’t be swayed. Let the haters fuel you and not distract you. You had a purpose before anyone had an opinion.

For a child of God, it doesn’t matter who is against you. It doesn’t matter who doesn’t like you. It doesn’t matter what they have said and what they are saying about you. Those who are against you are not a factor if God says your time has come. Those who are against you are not your God. Those who are against you are unaware of the plan of God for you. They are not walking in your shoes, and they do not have a clue where God is taking you to.

I might not know who has given you a 7% chance of survival, a 7% chance of success, a 7% chance of qualifying for that job, the God you serve is not the author of confusion, He is a giver of life. He is able to give you double for every trouble and double for your shame.

Today, I might not know the mess you are in but God does. I might not know what has come against you, but God is for you. I might not know who has vowed to destroy or tarnish your image, but God is your restorer. I might not know who has given you a 7% chance of survival, a 7% chance of success, a 7% chance of qualifying for that job, the God you serve is not the author of confusion, He is a giver of life. He is able to give you double for every trouble and double for your shame. Don’t allow the surrounding negativity to become drama in your Spirit. Learn to maintain your confession of faith in that situation you have found yourself and nothing will be out of reach to you.

Go in His Name today because this is your time and season. You will face the same evil but you will defeat it. May God cause the way of the wicked to be set to confusion and come to nothing — Psalms 10:2. May they be caught in their own devices and brought to shame. What was meant for evil, our God is turning that around. Our Joy shall not be stolen — we have strength to go forward! Things that looked like they were going down, we call them up. The plans of the enemy shall not come to pass. The things that were meant for evil will be turned around and put right back on those evil plans.

In Him,
~Ali Papa.
