Things Will Never Stay The Same

Dear Someone,

This letter is for you… You that’s lost looking for him or her instead of looking for yourself. You that’s afraid to be happy because it never lasts. You whose good heart has been broken a lot. You that’s finding it so hard to explain what’s going on inside your head because you no longer understand it yourself. You that’s regretting being nice and apologizing when you didn’t do anything wrong. You that is making unworthy people a priority in your life. You that your spouse or partner has become someone you used to know. This letter is for you!

You that can’t help but cry yourself to sleep every night, knowing that they’ll never be there again by your side. You that’s hurting seeing him or her with someone else. You that’s feeling forgettable because of their silence. You that’s wondering and asking, “how can someone not just be there anymore?” You that’s looking for a way to be happy without them. You that’s tired of missing the same person, every day. You that keep checking his or her social media even though you know you will be hurt. You that’s awake by 4 a.m., either because you are in love or because you are lonely. You that’s afraid of being happy because whenever you get too happy something bad always seems to happen. This letter is for you!

You are not what has happened to you. You are what you choose to become.

Open your eyes of faith today and know that you are where God wants you to be at this very moment. It doesn’t matter how bad things are right now, it doesn’t matter how many lemons’ life has thrown at you – make something beautiful out of them. If you have fallen seven times, rise up the eight time knowing that every experience is part of His divine plan. You are not what has happened to you. You are what you choose to become.

I have cried out to you and from your holy presence, You send me a Father’s help (Psalms 3:4).

Open your eyes of faith and remind yourself, that struggle will not last forever. That rejection will not last forever. That mess has an expiration date. That loneliness will not be forever. Everything has an end, including your emotional thoughts. I am assuring you that things will never stay the same, they will never be the way they were. Help is coming your way in that situation. It’s going to be alright for your family. It’s going to be alright in your relationship. You will heal and find love again. The one that will look beyond your flaws and love you “anyhow” is on the way. The Lord is your Shepherd not man. He will lead you besides the still waters. He will lead you to the right people even in the wrong places. From His Holy presence, He will send you a Fathers help (Psalms 3:4).

Be blessed!
In Him,
~Ali Papa.
