Do Yourself A Favour

Dear Someone,

This letter is for you. You that’s lonely at heart. You that’s feeling the pain in your chest from hearing or seeing something that actually breaks your heart. I want you to know that everything happens for a reason known to your Creator. In life, people will give up on you but God never will. Avoid overthinking and trust Him in that situation. Avoid overthinking and allow God to help you through that challenge. Do yourself a favour and learn how to walk away from a mess. Do yourself a favour and learn to say enough is enough. Do yourself a favour and come out of that silent hell you call a relationship. When a connection starts to fade, learn to let it go. When a relationship starts to isolate you from God and true friends, let it go, it’s toxic. Be brave enough to say goodbye, you won’t regret it!

That relationship you are forcing is only preventing you from being where God is calling you. Let go of what you want and embrace God’s plan. It’s unfortunate when relationships don’t work out but at the same time it allows for something and someone better fit. When a person starts to mistreat you, learn how to move on to something and someone better. Don’t stay too long to realize you don’t deserve their negativity – leave and go for something and someone better.

You must understand that there is a reason why things don’t always work out. That break up might have been very painful, but it’s a clear sign that you were not designed to be with that person. Let go and believe that there is something and someone better waiting out there for you.

Don’t waste your energy trying to force something that isn’t meant to be. Don’t spend hours asking God in prayer to bring back what He is trying to save you from. God has something and someone better for you. Stop sweating what God “let” you lose and trust Him for better. It doesn’t matter how badly you might have been treated but for every one person who doesn’t value you – there are tons more waiting to love you better. So don’t let a break up, failed marriage or job termination keep you down. God has something and someone better for you!

Whatever you are dealing with today, trust God. Trust His timing. Rely on His promises. He is not about to fail you neither is He about to forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Love yourself like you are not waiting for someone else to do it. Learn to get up from the table when love is no longer being served. And when you do, don’t be sad, because something and someone better will come. If you’re brave enough to say goodbye, life will reward you with a new hello.

Be blessed!

In Him,
~Ali Papa.
