I promised to write you again and this letter is for you.. you that doesn’t know if you still have the ability and courage to keep on going and keeping on. You that seems not to be moving on in the right direction despite all your efforts and prayers. You that despite all your efforts, you really can’t live without them. You that just got out of a dark place and you were thinking to yourself, “I’m never letting myself fall into this hole again…” and then you find yourself in the same darkness despite all your efforts to stay happy. This letter is for you.
I want you to know that the situation you are in is just for “a little while” – 1 Peter 1:4. This season of challenge you are in is going to end. It is not forever. Every season has a beginning, and every season has an end. Never let your past prevent you from moving on in the right direction. Rather than turning away from God, turn to Him to find that right direction. Stay faithful, stay humble and make something out of that blessed mess.
Stay focus, focus and more focus because help is on the way! Stop focusing on what’s wrong in your life; start focusing on what God will do in your life! Before long, you’ll come out of that difficulty better, stronger, and wiser than before! God said in Jeremiah 17:7 (TEV), “I will BLESS the PERSON who puts his TRUST in me”. Do you trust Him in that situation? Then look away from yourself. Give Him thanks knowing that sudden help is near. Refuse to worry (1 Peter 5:7) knowing that come what may, you will overcome in the end. I pray that the Lord open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that you will not have room enough to receive it all.
Until tomorrow, don’t allow yourself to feel like you can’t live without someone. Don’t allow your happiness to depend on something or someone that you can lose. Don’t give anyone so much power over you to a point where you no longer have your senses. Don’t allow your situation push you to a point whereby you want to take away your own life because of losing someone else – that’s mental illness that you need to deal with. Despite all your efforts, you can’t please everyone. You’re going to make decisions that not everyone will agree with but you have to do what’s best for you. Not everyone that’s with you now will be with you in the end. And that’s okay. People come and go. Learn to live with that – the sooner the better!
