This letter is for you. You that didn’t know what love felt like until you met them, but now you know what a broken heart feels like. You that’s feeling that you can’t love anyone else because your heart still belongs to the one who broke it. You that nobody can see your broken heart because it’s like having broken ribs but the pain is unbearable every time you breathe.
I want you to remember that life is filled with challenges. Many will find their way to your front door. But it is you who determines how you face those challenges. The life you have today consists not in holding good cards, but in playing those cards you hold well. Psalms 34:19 (KJV) says, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all”.
God will deliver you from that mess. God’s power is sufficient to take care of that situation that you have found yourself in. Those things that are out of balance – God is able to bring them back in. Speak to those storms don’t cry about them. Forgive the one that wronged you and broke your heart not for them but for your own sanity because love hurts, much more than hate does. Leave behind the past because nothing is going to change there and the more you keep looking back the more you’ll fail to see what’s in front of you.
Whenever you feel like giving up because of how broken you are, let the thought of those who would love to see you fail motivate you to take another step forward. Though it hurts when you’ve given your heart to someone who barely knows you exist, be proud of your heart. Be proud of your heart even though it’s been played, stabbed, cheated, burned and broken but somehow it still works. That means you have hope. Keep that hope alive because God’s plan for you shall come to pass and it will not be lost. May you know the steps to take ahead of time. May God restore the things that were lost or stolen and make them whole again!
