This letter is for you. You that’s trying to find the right person instead of being the right person. You that’s spending too much time looking for more, instead of appreciating what you already have. You that has failed to realise that your struggle is part of your story. You are doing this forgetting that the smallest things take up the most room in your heart. Please be careful of wanting what someone else had, you don’t know what they went through to get it. What they fought through and survived might kill you!
In the words of Nikita Gill, “Someone fell in love today. Someone was born today. Someone lived through something that could have killed them. Someone won back the love of their life. Someone made their parents proud. Someone survived. Someone got healed. Someone let go. Seven billion people, and some of us have just had the best day of their lives. Today may have been the very worst day of yours. But take solace and celebrate this simple fact. It wasn’t your best day today, but it is on it’s way, because we all get lucky in turn.”
You that found this letter of hope, please be thankful for the hard times, for they have made you. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself in that situation. Don’t think too much. You will create a problem that wasn’t even there. Have the confident belief that everything will turn out right. Psalms 145:14 says, “God gives a hand to those down on their luck, gives a fresh start to those ready to quit”.
Whatever it is you’re facing today, stay the course and keep going. There will be many chapters in your life. Don’t get lost in the one you’re in now. Keep moving. Keep hoping. Keep pressing on. There is victory on the other side. A slow start is better than no start. Allow yourself to be a beginner. No one starts off being excellent. You’ll be surprised to know how far you can go from the point where you thought it was the end. Until tomorrow, be a survivor! Don’t compare your life to others. There’s no comparison between the sun and the moon. They shine when its their time. May God remind you that His plans are bigger than your dreams.
