Trust God With The Impossible

Dear Someone,

This letter is for you, you that have been wandering through the arduous path of infertility, futile IVF’s, tears, and setbacks. This letter is for you, you that recently experienced loss through miscarriage or failed adoptions. I am not sending you this letter to make things tougher for you than it is already because I know that one of the most difficult and emotionally painful things that couples deal with, especially for women, is the inability to have a child.

I don’t know for how long you have tried to have a child without success but still shows up to every baby shower for your friends. I don’t know how many times you have cried your eyes to sleep because you missed it again but still manage to smile to people the following day. I also don’t know how difficult this is going to be for you as you read this, but if you think this letter is for you and you have been praying and hoping to have children, I want you to know that everything you need is already in your future.

The children you need are in your future if only you can shake that doubt off you and keep believing that God’s got you. You may have prayed, fasted and tired of trusting God but that doesn’t change the fact that God is still the hour of your miracle. It doesn’t matter if you are medically qualified or not to have a child, God is still the hour of your miracle. If He can raise the dead, make a virgin conceive, heal a 12-year issue of blood, make the blind see and the lame walk, He can help you too.

It doesn’t matter how old you are as you read this letter, if God can open the womb of a woman well past eighty, He can open yours. Stop allowing your age, doubts, unbelief, doctors report and fear cause you to think that healing and children are impossible to have. Understand that when God decides to bless you with everything that you have been praying for, He will not negotiate with anyone. He will bless you at His own will and cause situations to come together in your favour no matter what others try to do!

In Genesis 30:22-23, it wasn’t Rachael that remembered God. It was God that remembered Rachael. He didn’t only remember her, God hearkened unto her and opened her womb. Rachael testified and said, “God hath taken away my reproach”. May God remember you too and take away your reproach. May He cause situations and circumstances to come together to favour you. May He show you mercy that you didn’t deserve, and favour that you didn’t earn.

I know that there will be times when it looks like others are succeeding while you are experiencing a delay. Let your faith in God overpower your doubts at such times knowing that God’s timing won’t disappoint you. There will be times when it looks like God is far away, and seem like He is nowhere to be found, especially when He has not answered your prayers and you can’t bear the pain. Let your faith in God overpower your doubts at such times knowing that only God knows when your prayers will be answered.

I know there will be times when it looks like the enemy is winning — Daniel 3:23. Let your faith in God overpower your doubts at such times knowing that the only person who can stop you from achieving your goals is yourself. There will be times when it looks like this world is a wasteland for you. Times when you are probably tired of talking to friends and families about your issue. Times when you feel all alone even amidst loved ones, or family⁣ members. Times when it looks like you don’t belong. Let your faith in God overpower your doubts at such times knowing that you’re never alone, God is always with you.

I know there will be times when you wished you had married your ex instead of your present spouse. Let your faith in God overpower your doubts at such times knowing that looking forward instead of looking back and living in regret will help you to stay positive and create an atmosphere of miracle in your home. There will be times when negative self-talk will try to get the best of you. Let your faith in God overpower your doubts at such times knowing that there’s nothing that you can’t overcome with God by your side.

I know there will be times when you are ashamed to openly share your struggles with anyone because you’re afraid of being judged. Let your faith in God overpower your doubts at such times knowing that difficult times reveal your true friends. There will be times when you are so overwhelmed, you can’t remember the Scriptures or the exact words to string together in prayer. Let your faith in God overpower your doubts at such times knowing that just praising the Lord alone, even when you don’t understand what He is doing, is all that you need.

I know there will be times when you feel like going into a dark place and regretting some of the life you’ve lived in the past and the things you didn’t do right. Let your faith in God overpower your doubts at such times knowing that your past cannot be changed, and that it is never too late for God to make a way for you. There will be times when you feel defeated and just want to give up BUT there are times when you should also look back and see the grace of God over your life. There are times when you have to trust the process and know that your patience is what is being tested.

Don’t ever let anxiety and depression keep you from counting your blessings and from celebrating each day of your life. There will be times when you have to stand up and fight a good fight of faith. Today is one of those times! So whatever it is that you feel today, I want you to know that all that is completely normal. While you can’t completely prevent yourself from feeling this way, the most important thing you can do in these instances is to let your faith in God overpower your doubts knowing that your storm won’t last forever.

Irrespective of the time and season that you are in today, keep trusting God knowing that when He decides to bless you, no one can stop Him. Keep trusting Him knowing that the blessings on the other side of your battle will make what you went through look like nothing. Keep trusting Him for the fruit of the womb — He doesn’t forget what He promised you. Keep trusting Him for peace of mind between you and your partner — whatever that is closed in your lives will begin to open because God has remembered you both. Keep waiting for that problem to turn around because your times, my times, our times are in His hands (Psalm 31:15).

You that have received a negative report concerning your womb, May God give you a different report. May you be next in line for a miracle in Jesus Name. Luke 13:12 (KJV) says, “When Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity”. May that be your testimony in that situation. May that healing that you need be yours! You are healed in your body! You are healed in your mind! You are healed in your finances! May you begin to sing a new song.

You that have experienced a loss, I mourn with you. You that is trusting God for a miracle, I am praying and walking with you knowing that whenever God decides to bless anyone, He does it at the most unexpected time. He blesses them even before they think of giving up. Don’t give up on God. Genesis 25:21 (AMP) says, “Isaac prayed much to the Lord for his wife because she was unable to bear children; and the Lord granted his prayer, and Rebekah his wife became pregnant”.

You that can’t afford the next IVF, or medical intervention that you need, may it be said of you that “There was a time you couldn’t afford these things and God remembered you”. If God touched Sarah’s womb, He will touch yours! God is not a respecter of persons! It doesn’t matter if you have tried and failed, again and again, I want you to know that the strengthener is coming, the one who can make you succeed is coming. The one who can change your story is coming. Praise reports are on the way, in Jesus’ name! Say to yourself, “Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am” — Philippians 4:13 (MSG).

You that is destroying your home because of how your situation makes you feel, and you that is using your mouth to make your marriage a silent hell for your spouse because you think they are somehow responsible for your situation, I want you to think again. Don’t destroy your home — take care of the possible and trust God with the impossible. Be patient and wait for God to answer your prayers rather than tormenting your spouse day after day. Let this hard times make you stronger and wiser rather than allowing it to turn your partner into your punching bag. Your spouse or partner is not your enemy, everyone deserves to experience true love.

You whose eyes are filled with tears each time you walk past the baby aisle in a store; You that is absent from work to avoid awkward questions from colleagues because the day has been declared as “bring your kids to work” day; You that is wondering what’s wrong with you or what makes them better than you each time you see pregnant women; and you that cries silently each time you see new moms cuddling their babies, I want you to know that this sinking feeling that keeps popping up and the pain you feel now will pass. Don’t beat yourself up because you don’t wake up every single day to discover that your pregnancy test is positive. Continue to be patient and kind to yourself, continue to fight through those draining moments and know that God will answer your prayers.

Until tomorrow, never forget what you asked God for! He didn’t forget. He hasn’t forgotten. He has plans for those things, and He has plans for those things right now. Your weeping may have lasted for many nights but joy comes in the morning. I pray for a miracle for you. May God cause your womb to open in the Name of Jesus! May He give you a beautiful gift of a child (Psalms 127:3). May your faith-filled confessions turned into possessions for you in due time. May you not be described as barren but as fruitful and blessed.

When his wait was over, Joseph was promoted (Gen 41:39-41). Whatever it is that you have been waiting for, I pray and ask that your waiting be over. Those things that need to turn, I pray for them to turn in the Name of Jesus! May God set everything right again. May He take up your cause and turn things right. May He arouse for you and reestablish your fortunes. May He hear your prayers and answer you and bless you with a happy home — Job 8:6 (MSG).

With hope,
Ali Papa.
