I don’t know who this is for, but understand me well as I type these words.
Your current challenges are not there to kill you but to build you up. They are not there to stay but to pass. Your current challenges are not the most difficult thing you’ve ever had to face — acknowledge them but do not live in them. Your mistakes are your own mentorship, they are part of your story — they are not who you are.
Irrespective of the turns and detours in your relationship, stop wondering and asking if they ever really loved you. Irrespective of the detours that life has thrown at you, understand that where you are right now is where you’re supposed to be. Understand that “Sometimes, your ‘Plan B’ is really God’s ‘Plan A’. And your “detours” are all a part of His plan for your life.”- Dr Sorke.
Thank God for where you are and how life makes you feel. Thank God for the gift of life and how far he has taken you. Thank God for those that left you wondering and asking why. Thank God for clarity and discernment. Thank Him for your existence. Thank Him and don’t wait for the rock or birds to praise God because you won’t! Jesus said in Luke 19:40 (TLB), “If they keep quiet, the stones along the road will burst into cheers!”
I know things haven’t turned out the way you expected them to, but don’t keep quiet and don’t stop talking about God’s amazing Grace. I know things haven’t turned out the way you expected them to, be confident all the same knowing that God is still positioning you for victory. I know things haven’t turned out the way you expected them to, but what if you’re right where you’re supposed to be?
Life isn’t a straight line, it’s not fair sometimes but life is beautiful because all things, including your current circumstances, are all working together for your good. So stop being so angry and dismayed that things haven’t turned out the way you expected them to. God is able to bless anyone and your blessings are never too far out of reach.
Wherever you are today, I hope you’re okay, I hope you’re loved, I hope you’ll never cease from thanking God and I hope you’ll allow Him to take every part of your journey and writes an incredible story.
