You Are Not A Label

Dear Someone,

This short letter is for you, you that is crying for being bullied or treated as an outcast. You that is unable to fit in perfectly in a world full of people that thrive on negativity and trying to fit in, and stand out. You that is ashamed to be addressed by your family name because of the label placed on them by society. You that is feeling insecure and lacks self-worth because of how you are being looked down upon. You that got blocked, got kicked out of your friends’ group, ignored, and deemed as toxic, and problematic.

Not Everything You Lose Is A Loss

Dear Someone,

This letter is for you, you that have chosen to love in silence just because you find no rejection in it. You whose friendship, love, help, and service was rejected and left with more scars. You that was rejected for being different and for being you. You that’s wondering and asking how many times will it be possible for you to be rejected before every piece of you will finally be broken. You whose love was abused but still hoping against all reason that the one that rejected you will somehow come back to you. This letter is for you, you that have rejected yourself because of your looks and self-destructive thoughts.

Dear Someone,

This letter is for you, you that is sad, lonely and feeling not loved enough. You that’s not at peace in your heart because of how love makes you feel. You that’s depressed because of the bad memories from your past relationship that are flicking in your head like a film. You that’s lonely because the person you cared about has become a stranger. Dear Someone,

This letter is for you, you that is asking yourself what to do when there is nothing else left to do. You that have come to the end of the road and doesn’t know what to do yet can’t let go. God’s Got You

Dear Someone,

If you are one of those who wakes up every day wishing that a smile will come to you naturally, this letter is for you. I don’t know what’s causing that heavy burden in your heart or why you feel so much tired, depressed, lonely, and unloved. I also don’t know why it seems to you like nothing is adding up but whatever it’s that is causing you to have these bad feelings, rest and know that God is not surprised at your situation. It may not feel like it right now but there is an expected end for you. God will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. Hold your faith in that situation today knowing that help is on the way for you (see Hebrews 13:5).

Live Mindfully

Dear Someone,

This is my first letter to you this year and by far the longest. You are going to need to read it twice because I want you to stop looking back at 2018 and most especially your life and weeping uncontrollably. I sent you several letters last year reminding you never to let yourself stay sad and to understand that by leaving behind your old self and taking a leap of faith into the unknown, you will find out what you are truly capable of becoming.

Don’t Lose Yourself

Dear Someone,

If you found this letter and you are having a hard time, feeling like you’ve lost yourself instead of finding yourself, mentally and emotionally drained, and are scared of getting hurt again, that means it is for you. I am sending you this letter in the very final moments of my last evening of this glorious year 2018. I do so with so much gratitude and amazement. It is been an awesome year, and I am so excited to see what 2019 will bring for you and me.

As you know, 2019 will be another blank book, and we can’t but trust that God is going to write our story Himself. 2018 might not have started off great but you need to understand that even though you may still be going through a rough time right now, even though it might look like you have dug yourself deep in a pit that would be hard to get out of, you shouldn’t be looking for happiness from the same place you lost it. You shouldn’t be looking at where you fell, but where you slipped.
