Surrender Your Anxiety!

Dear Someone,

I hope you forgive me for giving you a name. Just like everyone, I was too busy handling the test and trails that came my way. It is a testament that no one is immune from the challenges of life. What’s important at such times is for us to never allow them plant themselves in our lives and put pressure on us. We should never wait for God to come to us, our spirit has to move us towards God and all that He wants us to become.

God Is On Your Side

Beloved,

The battles of life are not always to the strong. Stop struggling and be at rest in Him. Stop struggling like a man without Christ. A child of God works with a different set of rules. It was never your responsibility to win your battles and meet your needs. Stop struggling about tomorrow and about your finances. Stop struggling about how to come out of that blessed mess – God is on your side. It was never your responsibility to heal yourself, or to deliver yourself and set yourself free – God is your deliverer. Stop struggling with your health – healing is already yours. Rest and know that none of those things are your responsibility – those are His responsibilities. He said in Isaiah 42:9, “Everything has happened just as I said it would; now I will announce what will happen next”.

Don’t Think Too Much

Dear Someone,

I am sending you this letter of hope believing that it will serve as a guide and help you to get through the day and especially this night. I’m sending this to you because when you learn to survive without anyone, you can survive anything. I am sending this to you because I know that fate intervenes in people’s lives. It was that fate that brought us together and I am confident it will keep us together after reading this letter. I am sending this to you because life is full of happiness and tears. I am sending this to you because life is as beautiful as the way you choose to see it.

There Is No Shame In Divorce

Dear Someone,

This letter is for you. You that’s asking what’s the opposite of happiness since that’s all you can feel right now. You that has refused to walk away from a relationship that’s certain to kill you. You that was threatened with a knife and left with bruises the other day. You whose ONLY crime was getting married to a devil in a wife or a husband. You that’s afraid to walk away from a relationship that weighs you down instead of lifting you up. You that’s in a relationship that’s making you feel bad about being you.

Go Courageously

Dear Someone,

This letter is for you! You that was thrown away because you look like you don’t have much to offer. You that was thrown away because you couldn’t fit in. I am encouraging you to rely on God’s protection and guidance. David said in Psalm 23:4 that God’s rod and staff comforted him. The rod and staff were basic tools a shepherd used to protect and guide the sheep. It doesn’t matter what people or life has thrown at you and it doesn’t matter who has thrown you away, God will be with you, and He’ll protect and guide you.

Be Strong Enough

Dear Someone,

This letter is for you. You that’s trying to find the right person instead of being the right person. You that’s spending too much time looking for more, instead of appreciating what you already have. You that has failed to realise that your struggle is part of your story. You are doing this forgetting that the smallest things take up the most room in your heart. Please be careful of wanting what someone else had, you don’t know what they went through to get it. What they fought through and survived might kill you!

Live On

Dear Someone,

This letter is for you. You that’s not okay, but good at pretending that you are. You that’s done emotionally, drained mentally but smiling physically. You that’s tired but still fighting. You that’s always hanging on to the hope that things will get better. You that have lost count of the smiles you have faked. You that’s in pain and doesn’t know what to feel anymore. You that’s afraid to fall for the wrong person again. You that’s always prepared for goodbyes because that’s all you’ve ever known. You that was pushed to the point where you no longer cares, this letter is for you.
