You’re Not Your Past!

Dear Someone,

This letter is for you, you that’s stuck in one way, shape, or form with an ex or somebody or something from your past. You that is hiding from an ex forgetting that they are in your past, not your future. You that is hurting from having someone in your heart, but can’t have them in your arms. Your Journey Is Different & It Is Yours

I just wanted to remind you, Dear Someone, not to look back – you’re not going that way. Your direction is much more important than your speed. Stop looking back with the purpose of settling for a love that hurts more than it heals. Stop trying to make yourself relevant in stories you’ve already exited. Stop looking back so you can see what’s in front of you. Stop feeling sorry for yourself just because your ex seems to be doing just fine while you’re having a hard time. Stop feeling like God vanished and left you stranded. Stop feeling sorry for yourself just because you’re hurting in silence and wishing someone will love you enough to notice that you’re not yourself. Heal at your own pace, instead of rushing into connections by individuals who are not willing to help you move on.

Keep Making A Joyful Noise

Dear Someone,

This letter is for you, you that have been bashed, slandered, misunderstood, mistreated, defamed, despised, disparaged, humiliated, publicly embarrassed and falsely accused of things you know nothing about. This letter is for you, you that was wrongfully terminated from your job because of false accusations from a coworker. This letter is for you, you that’s living in shame and paying a high price because you were falsely accused by your spouse or partner of infidelity or for cheating on them. This letter is for you, you that was not only discriminated against but falsely accused of shoplifting, stealing or involved in a robbery and left for people to start questioning your character.

Everything Can Be Turned Around

Today might have started bad, but keep going even if you have made a mistake. I don’t believe in mistakes. Everything can be turned around and in your favour. Don’t accept defeat, don’t accept that low life. Don’t accept failure. Don’t accept that bad report from the doctor. With faith everything can be turned around: A bad day to a good day; a defeat into triumph; failure into success; bad report into a good report. In one act of kindness, everything can be turned around.

He Is Meeting My Every Need

“In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success” – Proverbs 3:6 (TLB)

I can’t change my past no matter how I try. All I can do is to let go and start my future all over again. My mistakes are a proof that I am trying. The one whom my salvation and honor depends on knows what I am going through and He is meeting my every need. He is my rock and my refuge. Therefore I will not look to the right or to the left, but I will declare that You are good right now, Father!

Dear Father,

You said in your Word that if I will acknowledge You in all my ways, You will make straight my paths. Today, I ask that You give me the patience to have patience. Walk me through every challenge and lead me to every blessing You have for me in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Your Beloved Son,
~ Ali Papa.

Let The Amen Rise

Beloved of God,

I want you to always remember that “The Son of God, Christ Jesus, whom we – Silas, Timothy, and I – proclaimed among you, never wavered between “Yes” and “No.” With him it has always been “Yes.” For, many as were the promises of God, in Christ is the “Yes” that fulfils them. Therefore, through Christ again, let the “Amen” rise, through us, to the glory of God” – 2 Corinthians 1:19-20 (OEB).
