Go For Souls, And Go For The “Worst”

Beloved of God,

As news of terrorism, kidnapping, armed robbery, economic crises/recession and challenges continue around the country and around the world, we must remember that our true battles are not against flesh and blood – they are not against terrorists, militants or deceptive government, nor an oppressive boss or unappreciative spouse – but “against the spiritual forces of evil in the Heavenly realms” – Ephesians 6:12.

The Abnormal Christian

Beloved of God,

A great or perfect life is not a life that doesn’t have problems. A life without challenges is an imperfect life. As a Christian, don’t ever look for a life without challenges. Don’t look for a life that doesn’t have any needs. Without challenges, you cannot have or exercise your faith. And without challenges (faith) you cannot please God.

A perfect life is a life full of troubles. If you are looking for a life without challenges, you will end up as a failure. Without troubles, you can’t see miracles. Without troubles, you can’t stand out and you can’t have a great life.

John 16:33 (KJV) says, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”.

Always look forward to challenges because Jesus has overcome the world for you. Always look forward to what others are not expecting. Stop crying about your circumstances. Stop crying about that medical condition. Stop crying about that financial situation. Stop crying about the troubles in your marriage. Stop crying and asking, “why me, why me”. You need challenges to conquer your current level before going to the next and higher level of life.

David said in Psalms 23:5 (KJV), “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over”.

If you don’t have enemies there won’t be a feast for God to prepare for you. God will not prepare a feast for your friends alone. He will prepare for your enemies too because a Christian is an “abnormal person” who plays by a different set of rules.

1 Peter 2:9 (KJV) says, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a PECULIAR people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light”.

The Living Bible translation says, “But you are not like that, for you have been chosen by God himself – you are priests of the King, you are holy and pure, you are God’s very own – all this so that you may show to others how God called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light”.

If the Bible tells us that we are peculiar it means we are not normal. It means that we are different from the rest of the world. It means that we are born tough. It means that we are more than a conqueror. It means that we do not see or think the way the world see or thinks.

When you are in Christ, you play by a different set of rules. An abnormal Christian gets going when God calls. His or her mind, will and emotions cooperates with his Spirit. He or she treats the Bible like the Words came from God’s mouth. He or she is a financier of the gospel. His or her money is always on a mission for the Kingdom. He or she is never afraid to cast out demons. He or she is a soul winner and a son or daughter of consolation.

God was serious when He said to Abraham, “I’ll bless those who bless you; those who curse you I’ll curse.” – Genesis 12:3.Abraham was an exceptional and an “abnormal” man – against hope he believed in hope, without any questions, he obeyed God.

It doesn’t matter who is against you in your office, at work or in your neighborhood, you are peculiar and you are a man or woman that is richly blessed. If you are in Christ, Abraham’s blessings are yours and this is the reason why: “The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The Scripture does not say “and to seeds,” meaning many people, but “and to your seed,” meaning one person, who is Christ” – Galatians 3:16 (NIV).

You are not a “normal” person if you’re in Christ. You are a peculiar person. You are royalty. You are a man of the spirit. You’re a blessed man or woman. You are blessed in the morning and you are blessed in the evening.

May “the LORD bless you with peace from all your enemies” – 2 Chronicles 15:15 (CEV). May this be the time, where you decide to persevere and be determine to not give up no matter what.

In Him,
Ali Papa.

Your Responsibility In Christ (1)

Dear Fellow Christians,

There is an excitement you’ll never enjoy until you’re a soul winner. When you begin to step into what God had made you, the experience becomes real to you.

Until you are on top of a mountain, you’ll never know how cooler it’s up there than when you are at the bottom of the mountain. At the top of the mountain, you see differently. Houses and everything looks small from the top of a mountain. That’s how God sees and that’s how we need to see.

It’s our responsibility to win souls. The power to win souls has already been given to us. Acts 1:8 says, “But you shall receive POWER (ABILITY, EFFICIENCY, and MIGHT) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth” AMP.

We have received dynamic power to cause changes, to witness for Him, to become living proof producers. I’m an agent of positive change where I am. Don’t ask how. Heaven knows you when you pray for £5 million. It’s your inheritance and God remembers you. He will either send a man or an angel to bless you.

In Mark 16:15, Jesus said unto them, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature”. Jesus said we should go into our world of business and our sphere of contact and preach the gospel to every creature. And you must begin in your house.

We are not in Church so that God can bless us. We are a company of blessed men. We are the Sons of God gathered together to participate in the divine nature and to do our Father’s business. We don’t run the same race with the rest of the world. We know who we are. We are problem solvers and a solution provider.

Jesus said, in Matthew 12:30, “He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad”.

In Luke 11:23 Jesus said, “He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth”.

To rise in church and be spiritually relevant, your must be involved with God’s number one job. You must always dress for the job. You’re a salesman taking the gospel to the ends of the world. You have a portfolio!

You have to be on a mission, you have to be on the go for the signs to follow you. Mark 16:17 says, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues”. The signs can’t follow you when you seat in one place.

Jesus is the express image of God’s personality. Hebrews 1:1-3 days, “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high”.

Today, Jesus is no longer here on earth physically. He is with the Father but he is here with us spiritually and we have become the express image of God.

Our purpose in church, my purpose in church as a child of God is to bring men into their inheritance. The Father has made us partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. Colossians 1:12 AMP days, “Giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified and made us fit to share the portion which is the inheritance of the saints (God’s holy people) in the Light.

If you are ashamed to preach the gospel you are locking the power.

Let your environment be your concern rather than your problems, needs and challenges. You may be in a desert place but don’t let your needs be your focus. Let the needs of God dominate your mind and thoughts. That’s a higher life in Christ. Always find out what God wants you to do with the life of the one you meet.

What are God’s needs in that company that you work for? What are God’s needs in that neighbourhood that you live? Psalms 2:8 says, “Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations as Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth as Your possession” (AMP).

Today is the day to stay the course and become a radical soul winner.

In His Grip,
Ali Papa.
