Dear Someone,

If you found this letter and you are having a hard time, feeling like you’ve lost yourself instead of finding yourself, mentally and emotionally drained, and are scared of getting hurt again, that means it is for you. I am sending you this letter in the very final moments of my last evening of this glorious year 2019. I do so with so much gratitude and amazement. Dear Someone,

This letter is for you, you that is stranded somewhere between wanting them back and letting them go. You that’s wondering if you should mend it or let it go. You that is thinking that he or she is probably just the right person but wrong timing, or maybe because you’re just too messed up emotionally to be loved by anyone. I know you want me to give you answers as to why people do the things they do. I am sorry to say that you may not get them, at least not in this letter. You won’t get them because life isn’t a TV episode in which everything gets neatly wrapped up with a satisfying conclusion.

Dear Someone,

You that’s being ignored because of something you know nothing about, you that is being ignored because you don’t know anyone and have no one to help. This letter is for you, you that have been ignored as if you were dead, as if you were a broken pot and you that’s tired of putting up with being ignored or shunned, spat at, and berated by those you once called your own or someone who means the world to you.
