Your Journey Is Yours Alone

Beloved,

You might have done a lot of things “backwards” in the past year or in your life as a whole, but always remind yourself that you are not in a race with anyone – just yourself.

As you begin the new year, never try to race with anyone. Learn to enjoy your own ride – it will take you to your desired destiny. You might have been through a lot but be thankful for where you are right now. Just because you took longer than others doesn’t mean that you have failed. Your journey is yours alone and it will always be.

Ecclesiastes 9:11 (MSG) says, “I took another walk around the neighborhood and realized that on this earth as it is – The race is not always to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor satisfaction to the wise, Nor riches to the smart, Nor grace to the learned. Sooner or later bad luck hits us all”.

Live your best life today. Stop trying hard to please everyone. Go at your own pace. Go on your own terms. Walk in your purpose, for you have your own destiny to fulfill. May His Grace locate you and bring you in just at the right time.

In Him,
Ali Papa.

Stay The Course (10)

Dearly Beloved,

Many times in your journey of life,  your actions will be perceived differently than how you meant them to be perceived. You will be misunderstood and your motives will be called into question. Whenever you try to do something you will risk rejection, you will risk ridicule, and you will be misunderstood. That’s life but don’t allow that to stop you. Many times it will shock you to hear what others thought about you, especially when you knew your intentions were right. You may have meant one thing, but everyone may have seemed to perceive something totally different from what you intended. At such times, you must remind yourself that you are not alone. Jesus was misunderstood. He suffered in the hands of men. In His short lifetime He encountered both love and hate, acceptance and rejection, belief and unbelief. Jesus lived with people who understood Him and with those who misunderstood Him.

There may be sometimes when someone may question your motives when you are trying to get the blessing from God. Someone may think you want that to be puffed up. You want that job so you can be a big shot. You want that so you can be better than others. Your Pastor and folks in the church may even misunderstand your motives, but persevere in your prayer anyway.

Do you feel misunderstood and forsaken by the people you love? Have you been falsely accused and stripped of everything, without a dime to your name? Don’t cry. Don’t quit. Don’t pack your bags yet. Back off, take some time to think and pray about the matter before you proceed. Don’t let the devil get you all upset because you were misunderstood. Stay the course and on purpose because our Lord knows how to relate to you in your situation. He has been there and He is in it with you. He said to us in John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”.

So I say to you today to be of good cheer. You will always be misunderstood, mistreated, and maligned but again, stay the course and on purpose. Joseph was misunderstood, mistreated, and maligned but he stayed the course and everything worked together for his good. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose”.

You know the story of Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:1-21. The Bible says the other wife, the adversary, mocked her, tormented her, and used every opportunity available to show her she is barren. Even the prophet, when he saw Hannah praying, thought she was drunk. The prophet misunderstood her, but that didn’t stop God. God has decided her time and season. When her day came, the mockers were silenced. All things worked together for her good.

If in your place of work, you did something you thought was good and required commendation, but instead you found yourself being persecuted for your good works, don’t feel bad about it. Just because you’re good and doing the right thing doesn’t mean everybody is going to be cheering you on. There might be those that’ll resist you, and try to make you stray away from your path; they might even call you evil, in spite of your good works; you must maintain your composure. Refuse to change. Stay the course with the Word of God in your heart and in your mouth. As you do, keep manifesting His righteousness, no matter the criticism’ and you’ll always win.

Learn to give Him thanks in every situation. If they treated you bad, give Him thanks. if they lied against you, give Him thanks. If they hate you, give Him thanks. If they misunderstood you, give Him thanks. Give Him thanks for this is the will of God for you – 1 Thessalonians 5:18. No matter how dark and hopeless the situation may look – give Him thanks. Today, give Him thanks! It doesn’t matter if what you’re praying for is yet to materialize. It doesn’t matter who is against you in your office or in your home. It doesn’t matter where they are planning against you. It  doesn’t matter how deep the valley is. He will walk with you. He will comfort you – Psalm 23:4. It doesn’t count who is trying to bring you down or talk down on you, “…God will never let you down; He’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; He’ll always be there to help you come through it”. (1 Corinthians 10:13 Message).

Hannah prayed from her heart, and Eli thought she was drunk because people who pray are most generally misunderstood (1 Samuel 1:14). So don’t be discouraged when you are misunderstood. “Don’t be afraid… The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” – Exodus 14:13-14 NLT. When you have been wounded, unfairly treated and misunderstood, forgive and stay the course. Be strong. Take courage. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t give them a second thought because God, your God, is striding ahead of you. He’s right there with you. He won’t let you down; he won’t leave you – Deuteronomy 31:6 MSG.

God is your present help. You can call out to Him and He will answer AND deliver. Rest, knowing that what looked like a really bad situation is about to become your praise report that God really does use ALL things for your good.

It’s Too Late To Fail

wp-1488810210206.png

Dearly Beloved of God,

Before God blesses a man, He knows his terrain, society and the wickedness of men around him, yet He goes ahead to bless him. He goes ahead to prepare a table for him in the presence of his enemy because He has already prepared a hedge around him.

Are you aware that God cannot bless you without also protecting you? Job never knew that but Satan knew. Satan said to God in Job 1:10 TLB, “You have always protected him (Job) and his home and his property from all harm. You have prospered everything he does – look how rich he is! No wonder he ‘worships’ you!”.

Job never knew there was a hedge around him. He never knew that God was watching over him, protecting him, his home and his properties from harm. While God was protecting him, Job was operating with a lesser light of who God is, he was confessing fear. Job was destroyed by the devil because of his fear. He said in  Job 3:25-26, “For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.”

Who told Job that he wasn’t in safety? Where did fear came from? Where did great fear came from? At what point did he not know that God was protecting him? The same question goes for you too – why are you walking in fear? Why are you having sleepless night over your finances? Why are you depressed over that “blessed mess”? Why are you telling everyone around you that things are bad? Why are you miserable because you are not where you want to be? Why are you suffering from panic attacks? Who told you that things will never get better? Who told you that there is no hope for you? Who told you that the economic situation you are in cannot work together for your good?

Brothers and sisters, fear doesn’t come from God. It comes from the devil. If you believe that God is telling the truth in His Word, if you believe that He is capable of doing what He said He would do in His Word, then you will have no fear of anything. You are a blessed man or woman endowed with the very best of God. You might not look like one now but you are still blessed because that’s who God created you to be and that is how He sees you. Stop complaining about your condition – it will not change it. The more you complain to everyone the more you are breaking the hedge that God has placed around you. Ecclesiastes 10:8 says he that breaks the hedge the serpent will bite. God has given you His Word, act on them. Isaiah -54:17 says. “No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgement thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants (sons) of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.”

It’s your responsibility to see with the eyes of the Spirit and talk right. When God blesses you He doesn’t reverse it but it’s your responsibility to protect it through faith and not fear. Become strong and courageous in battle. Fuel your body, your senses and your Spirit with His Word. To reign in life means to rule like a king. We are to live and rule like kings. Do kings get up in the morning fearful and ashamed? No, they arise with regal dignity and dominion. You have the royal bloodline of Jesus flowing through you. You also have God’s approval and with it you are to rule the circumstances of your daily living.

Today is not the day to walk in fear. No! Remind yourself at all times that you are on the right side and cannot be defeated. It’s too late to fail now. You have been serving the Lord for too long to give up on Him and His Word. Don’t disqualify yourself from His blessings! It’s too late for the devil but not too late for God. It’s not too late for that healing. It’s not too late for that miracle! It’s not too late to have a baby. It’s not too late to get another job. It’s not too late for you to have your own family. Refuse to give up, keep talking your way up, keep declaring your healing, keep seeing your advancement, keep on taking the land and your healing will come to pass, your next job will come, your money will come,  that situation will change, that promotion will come.

No matter what you have lost, regardless of the season of your forfeiture, it’s not too late for you to recover all that you have lost because of fear. No matter what you have been through or what you’re facing, it’s not too late. God can bring healing and complete restoration to every area of your life. He is your Heavenly father, and He is faithful to keep His promises. I don’t care how old you are or how big your mountain is, your sun will rise again, the Lord is about to do great things for you! When God opens the door to you, no man can shut it. “Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass” – Psalm 37:5. What the enemy intends for evil, He will use for good. Refuse to fear knowing that the day will come when those that have forsaken you will earnestly seek your help.

Stay the course and on purpose. Don’t look to yourself. Don’t focus on your circumstances. Look to Jesus! Hebrews 13:8 promises: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” If God did it before for Job, He sure can do it again for you. He will put a hedge around you, He will always protected you and your home and your property from all harm. He will prosper everything that you do. In Jesus Name!

Don’t Let Your Faith Slip

Beloved of God,

There is a place of rest for the child of God according to Hebrews 4:11. You can’t enter into that rest by your physical power but by studying and applying His Word alone.

¶¶Hebrews 4:11 (AMP) says, “Let us therefore be zealous and exert ourselves and STRIVE DILIGENTLY to enter that REST [of God, to know and experience it for ourselves], that no one may fall or perish by the same kind of unbelief and disobedience [into which those in the wilderness fell]”.

Don’t get casual about the Word. Don’t make the mistake of thinking, Oh, I know all that faith stuff. If you do, you’ll slack off and one of these days the devil will catch you unprepared and steal you blind. Always remember that His Word is able to make you what it talks about.

¶¶Hebrews 4:12 (AMP) says, “For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of thebreath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart”.

Besides having a quite time with God and His Word on your own, going to Church or a fellowship meeting is an opportunity for you to hear His Word. At such a time you can do two things:

  1. Attend the service, come with your guests and allow others to be strengthened because of your presence just as you are going to get blessed too.
  2. Give excuses why you can’t attend, allow your faith to slip and life goes on.

Whichever one you decide to do, remember to dig more deeply in the Word than ever. Labor! Be diligent to keep your faith from slipping and you won’t have to fall!

In His Grip,
Ali Papa.

Refuse To Let Worry And Stress Rule Your Life

Dear Beloved,

Hold your head up high today, and know that God is in control. He has a perfect plan for your life. Refuse to let worry and stress rule your life. Someone somewhere is praying for the things you are taking for granted right now.

So you must understand that no matter how bad things seem, they’ll always get better. The warmth of spring always follows the harshest winter. Hope for the best and never forget that anything is possible as long as you remain dedicated to the task. God has never left you or forsaken you. Believe He’s working all things for your good right now.

Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose”.

What do we know according to Romans 8:28? I’m stirred in my spirit right now.. We know, I know, that all things with the exception of none work together for our good and for my good. Glory to God!

Open your eyes and take in all the beauty around you brothers and sisters. Even during the worst of times, there’s still much to be thankful for because all things will eventually work together for you good. Again, refuse to let worry and stress rule your life, and remember that things always have a way of working out in the end.

Work hard every day to be the best person you can be, but never feel guilty if you fall short of your goals. Every sunrise offers a second chance. Don’t lose hope. When you are down to nothing, God is up to something.

Today is not just like any other day, but it’s a new day. This day belongs to you. It’s a gift given to you by God. We call this day holy, healthy, and prosperous. Enjoy it! Seizing every moment and opportunity to maximize your potential is your gift to Him.

May God help you to hear His voice clearly, to sense your next move, to grab your destiny and to keep the devil off your back in Jesus Name. Amen!

In His Grip,
Ali Papa.

He Knows Every Need

Dearly Beloved,

Financial trouble may be the story on the nightly news, but it does not have to be your story!

I want your faith to grow in the truth that God is your Provider! God’s blessing in your life will bring supernatural provision! When others say it’s not possible, when the economy is failing, when it seems success is out of reach – some way, some how, God your Provider will make a way! You are redeemed from the curse. Lack and insufficiency have no place in your life!

Allow God to carry this load you bare. Let him help you, for everything will work out right. Learn to trust and depend on Him, He won’t let you down. He’ll keep you strong, and plant your feet on solid ground!

If you can hold on to that Name that is above every other Name this day, if only you have the faith to believe, to trust, and to call Him, then every knee shall bow, your challenges will go, those mountains will crumble.

That suffering is unnecessary. God not only sees where you are, He sees where you can be. He is at work in your life right now. He is directing your steps. What you thought was a setback is going to turn out to be a setup.

So I encourage you to take your mind away from fear today, it’s not in your nature to fear, that “suffer-head”, that suffering, is unnecessary.

God has not given you the spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and a sound mind. That “suffer-head”, that suffering, is unnecessary.

You don’t need to worry or be afraid for your future – His thoughts toward you are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jer. 29:11). That “suffer-head”, that suffering, is unnecessary.

You don’t need to be afraid at night for a thousand shall fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand but it shall not come near you (Ps. 91:7). That “suffer-head”, that suffering, is unnecessary.

You don’t need to bother about your needs – the Lord is your shepherd, you shall not want (Ps. 23:1).

You don’t need to worry about your supplies – all things are yours (1 Cor. 3:21) and God shall and will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Phil. 4:19).

God has handled everything that concerns you to perfection; that “suffer-head”, that suffering, is unnecessary. Don’t ever forget that God is not limited by your paycheck. He is not limited to your bank account. He is not limited by the nation’s economy. He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory!

Rest well today knowing that God has you in the palm of His hand. He knows every need, every struggle and every desire. He has it all figured out…He’s a supernatural God.

I declare over you the blessing of God to come upon you, your family and your relatives. No stopping it, no holding it back. I agree with you for the abundance, for every need to be met, for your body to be whole, for the power of the Holy Ghost to come upon you like never before, for the anointing to rise up in you that you might do what He is calling you personally and corporately to do. Amen.

Shalom,
Ali Papa.

Stop Looking For Good Jobs

blogger-image-1240243617Saints,

Riches come from God. There are those that say, watch out for those that are rich to know if their riches are from the devil. Riches doesn’t come from the devil.

¶¶Isaiah 1:19 (TLB) says, “If you will only let me help you, if you will only obey, then I will make you rich!”

God has the ability to fulfill His Word. He said, “I will make make rich”.

¶¶Psalms 112:1-3 (KJV) says, “1 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. 2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. 3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever”.

Your circumstances should not change the condition of your Spirit such that you can’t help yourself or help others. God’s riches has nothing to do with where you live or in which Nation you are.

Wealth, riches and righteousness are linked together so it’s not true that when you are rich you cannot be righteous. Always be aware that God wants His children to be rich. Your observation of many Christians may not say so. There is a difference between someone who has been rich and in that condition gave his life to Christ and the other guy through the principles of the Word of God become rich. That is because God wants it to happen that way and that’s the reality.

There are many Christians around the world who have never been thought accurately on how to apply the Word of God. Those who doesn’t want to be rich should know that they have the ability to become rich and to be able to help others become rich. Your circumstances should not change the condition of your Spirit such that you can’t help yourself or help others. God’s riches has nothing to do with where you live or in which Nation you are. God has said it is your Year of Increase in Fortunes.

¶¶Amos 3:7 (AMP) says, “Surely the Lord God will do nothing without revealing His secret to His servants the prophets”.

Why does God tell us what he wants us to do at the beginning of the year. It’s so that we can have faith for it, prepare for it and be able to fulfill His will, His plans and purposes fulfilled in our lives. God gives riches and wealth. ¶¶Ecclesiastes 5:19 (KJV) says, “Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God”.

When God gave Solomon wisdom, God didn’t give him riches because he was magnanimous but because riches and wealth cannot be separated from wisdom.

Solomon never asked God for riches or wealth. He only asked for wisdom.
¶¶2 Chronicles 1:11-12 (KJV) says, “11 And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king: 12 Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like”.

God granted Solomon’s request but added riches and wealth to it. David understood this, he had a sense of this. ¶¶1 Chronicles 29:10-12 (KJV) says, “10 Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever. 11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. 12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all”.

Hallelujah! Glory to God! David said riches and honor comes from God and it is in His power to give strength.

¶¶Ecclesiastes 6:1-2 (KJV) says, “1 There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, and it is common among men: 2 A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is vanity, and it is an evil disease”.

Why should a man have a large company, have thousands of workers, the banks are using his money to do business and building more branches but the man himself doesn’t have good health to enjoy it? The word says it’s vanity and an evil disease that is common among men to various degrees. Many people do things because that is the normal thing to do. How many of you before you put money into the bank ask God what to do with the money?

Stop looking for good jobs. What you need is to go into a job and give something to humanity.

¶¶John 3:8 (KJV) says, “The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit”.

¶¶Psalms 71:7 (KJV) says, “I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge”.

Learn to listen to the Holy Spirit. How did Solomon knows what to ask God? Solomon was the wisest man that ever lived before Jesus. He wrote a book and showed us why he thinks differently.

¶¶Proverbs 4:1-3 (KJV) says, “1 Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding. 2 For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law. 3 For I was my father’s son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother”.

He was raised as the heir apparent. David anointed him king even when his elder brother Adonaika proclaimed himself king.

¶¶Proverbs 4:4-7 (KJV) says, “4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. 5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. 6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. 7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding”.

This is why Solomon asked God for wisdom. His father taught him. What you need for that business is not money but wisdom. God is the one who gives riches, wealth and honour. He gave it to Abraham and his seeds. When God gave Solomon wisdom, God didn’t give him riches because he was magnanimous but because riches and wealth cannot be separated from wisdom.

It doesn’t matter if you are cleaning a window, the law of prosperity is at work in you. Your salary is not your blessing.

¶¶Galatians 3:19-29 (TLB) says, “19 Well then, why were the laws given? They were added after the promise was given, to show men how guilty they are of breaking God’s laws. But this system of law was to last only until the coming of Christ, the Child to whom God’s promise was made. (And there is this further difference. God gave his laws to angels to give to Moses, who then gave them to the people; 20 but when God gave his promise to Abraham, he did it by himself alone, without angels or Moses as go-betweens.) 21 Well then, are God’s laws and God’s promises against each other? Of course not! If we could be saved by his laws, then God would not have had to give us a different way to get out of the grip of sin– 22 for the Scriptures insist we are all its prisoners. The only way out is through faith in Jesus Christ; the way of escape is open to all who believe him. 23 Until Christ came we were guarded by the law, kept in protective custody, so to speak, until we could believe in the coming Savior. 24 Let me put it another way. The Jewish laws were our teacher and guide until Christ came to give us right standing with God through our faith. 25 But now that Christ has come, we don’t need those laws any longer to guard us and lead us to him. 26 For now we are all children of God through faith in Jesus Christ, 27 and we who have been baptized into union with Christ are enveloped by him. 28 We are no longer Jews or Greeks or slaves or free men or even merely men or women, but we are all the same–we are Christians; we are one in Christ Jesus. 29 And now that we are Christ’s we are the true descendants of Abraham, and all of God’s promises to him belong to us”.

Christ inherited all the blessings of Abraham and if you belong to Christ, you are Abraham seed.

¶¶1 Corinthians 1:30 (KJV) says, “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:”.

Blessed is the man that fears the LORD. God doesn’t need to make you rich. He doesn’t need to give you power to get wealth. It’s useless to start asking God to make you rich now because you were born the very heir of all riches. The power to get wealth was given to you. You were born with an authority and with all that you need. What you need now is to use the Word of God to chart the course of your life. Stop looking for good jobs. What you need is to go into a job and give something to humanity. Stop putting your hope in your job. It doesn’t matter if you are cleaning a window, the law of prosperity is at work in you. Your salary is not your blessing.

In Him,
~Ali Papa.
