Keep Seeing Your Victory

Dearly beloved,

You might feel afflicted today, but God is working to bring you out of that difficult situation. It may not be in the way you thought, but you have to trust that God has your best interest at heart. “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all” – Psalm 34:19.

Afflictions can take on many forms – a sickness or hardship, a temptation, a coworker or family member. There are so many things that can come against us, but God promises in His Word that no weapon formed against us shall prosper! Then Jesus said in John 11:40, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?”.

Those afflictions are only temporary. Stand in faith today believing that God is on your side. Remember, you and God are a majority. It doesn’t matter what your circumstances look like, get up every morning and say, “This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.”

As you stand and trust the Lord, keep seeing your vistory, He will deliver you out of all your afflictions, and you’ll see His hand of blessing in every area of your life.

In Him,
Ali Papa.

It’s Not You. It’s Them.

Beloved of God,

We live in a a very negative world today where we are either defined by the number of followers we have on social media, how politically correct we are, the number of children we have, the type of work that we do, our religious beliefs, the nation that we are from or how we look and who we associate with people. This fear of criticism has driven many to either commit suicide, become timid, antisocial, live in self defeat, have a low self esteem and withdrawn.

Are you a victim of hate crime? Are been bullied by those who should be cheering you up? Are those who are supposed to love you the ones criticizing you and tearing you down? Are you been told that your best is never enough? Don’t wait for anyone’s approval before you take that next step. Don’t wait for anyone’s approval before you validate yourself. Do what you feel in your heart to be right – for you’ll always be criticized anyway.

What is it that you want to do today? Go ahead and do it! There’s enough power in you to bring those glorious dreams to pass. Don’t be bothered about those who criticize you. If they know you they won’t criticize you. So keep proclaiming the Word and declaring your identity in Christ and you’ll be on your way to a fulfilled dream. But remember, you are going to get criticized because of the money that is coming to you. You are going to get criticized for lack of money. You are going to get criticized for daring to be different. You are going to get criticized for your boldness to confront the status quo. You are going to get criticized for living in a big house, driving a luxury car, embarking on that overdue vacation, dating the “wrong” person and for piercing your nose, etc. The bottomline is that you can’t please everybody. So don’t worry when they are not pleased. It’s not you. It’s them.

It doesn’t matter who is talking you down, never criticize a man that you want or desire to be like. ¶¶Romans 15:7 NIV says, “Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God”. You have only two choices, accept people, or reject them. When you realize this, it may change the way you treat people. When you criticize or condemn people, you communicate rejection. Although you may not agree with someone over certain issues, find out on what you can agree with them. Love them and pray for them; don’t criticize and backbite. You don’t have to associate with someone to pray for them. You can avoid them, get the strife out of your life, and still remain in a position to pray for them.

So go ahead today and be you. Go ahead and be original. As you do, stay the course and on purpose. When people judge, criticize, shame or ridicule you in front of others, it isn’t because of anything you’ve done. It’s because they have their own small and selfish needs. Don’t take it personal. Practice Ephesians‬ ‭4:29 and rest. ¶¶Ephesians 4:29 (BBE) says, “Let no evil talk come out of your mouth, but only what is good for giving necessary teaching, and for grace to those who give ear”. So it doesn’t matter who is against you, God is on your case. ¶¶Psalms 23:5 (CEV) says, “You treat me to a feast, while my enemies watch. You honor me as your guest, and you fill my cup until it overflows”.

Today, I pray “that your love will flourish and that you will not only love much but well. Learn to love appropriately. You need to use your head and test your feelings so that your love is sincere and intelligent, not sentimental gush. Live a lover’s life, circumspect and exemplary, a life Jesus will be proud of” – ¶¶Philippians 1:9-10 (MSG).

As you step out in faith today, may there not be any delay between the Word of God in your mouth and the execution of that word in the earth.

You are loved!

Ali Papa.

Enough Is Enough!

Dearly Beloved,

The most encouraging word that is usually given to everyone of us is “don’t give up”. We hear this all the time from our parents, our siblings, friends, mentors and from the pulpit.

While it’s very important for us not to give up on people, not to give up on our dreams, not to give up on life and everything and everyone that’s so dear to us, giving up doesn’t always mean you’re weak. sometimes it means you are strong and smart enough to let go and move on.

It takes a strong man or woman to move on in life knowing that God’s got him or her. It takes a strong man or woman to let go of his own understanding knowing that God’s Word will always be a light in his path of life. Abraham left his family, culture and all that was dear to him to an unknown land that God was going to show him.

Genesis 12:1-4 (KJV) says:
1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

While it is important to sometimes give up on everything that is not bringing you closer to God and His Word, don’t let go of your confidence in God, no matter what you see around. Don’t turn to the left or to the right because something is happening, God needs your faith because of where He is taking you to.

Whenever you refuse to let go of the wrong things in your life and if all that you need to do to be able to move to the next and higher level of success in your life is to let go, you become very bitter. The risk there is that bitterness could hinder you from your next level. Bitterness is a killer. You need to help yourself and let go of the past. You deserve to be happy for others and as you do God would cause things to turn around for you.

Brothers and sisters, you should never forget that life is a theater… You have the responsibility of inviting your audience carefully. Not everyone in your life is healthy enough to have a front row seat in your life. There are some people in your life who need to be loved from a DISTANCE. Life is about moving on, accepting changes and looking forward to what makes you stronger and more complete.

It is amazing what you can accomplish when you let go of – or minimize your time with – those draining, negative, incompatible, ‘not-going- anywhere’ relationships or friendships. Your brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you can’t go
on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

Today is a new day, observe the relationships around you. Pay close attention… Which ones lift, and which ones lean? Which ones encourage, and which ones discourage? Which ones are on a path of growth uphill, and which ones are going downhill? When you leave certain people, do you feel better or feel worse? Which ones always have drama, or don’t really understand, know or appreciate you & the gifts that lie within you? Don’t allow your future to be defined by your past. That is why it’s your past. Let go of yesterday. Let go of that regret. This is your day now.

I know how hard it is for us to walk away from our comfort zone but remember that the devil lied, tried to kill your dreams many times through your friends and acquaintances, he tried to destroy your hope and steal your joy many times. He didn’t win. You made it but you could have gone very far compared to where you are right now. So step out in faith today, God brought you this far. He is not about to leave you empty now.

Every day is a NEW beginning, take a deep breath and START AGAIN. Everyone is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Don’t let their battles become yours. Be kind to them and to yourself. Let go and trust that God will take you to places! I pray that may every situation turn around into the new for you in the name of Jesus.

In Him,
Ali Papa.

His Name Is At Stake

In every nation of the earth today, things are getting tougher, terror is on the increase, poverty is hitting many more BUT the WORD of God remains the same. No matter how long it’s taking or how long you’ve been waiting, DON’T GIVE UP! No matter how “impossible” it may look to you, GOD HAS A PLAN. If you stay in Faith, your set time is coming. God has every intention of bringing life to the desires and dreams he placed in your heart. Declare by faith today, MY TIME IS COMING!

2 Corinthians 4:8-9, 13 (KJV) says, “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak”.

God will never put you to shame for trusting in Him… Never! His name is at stake.

Brothers and Sisters, you may be hard pressed today, but know that your hope in God will keep you from being crushed; it will keep you from being perplexed. Your hope in God will keep you from despair; it will keep you from persecution. Your hope in God tells us we’re not abandoned or struck down, because our God keeps us from being destroyed.

I am encouraging you today to fix your hope and your confidence on the Lord. He is the best foundation to stand on. All other ground is sinking sand. God will never put you to shame for trusting in Him… Never! His name is at stake. You can have peace in the midst of a storm. You can have joy when things are uncertain. You can have hope when circumstances seem hopeless. Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly – John 10:10.

Psalm 25:3 NLT says, “No one who trusts in you will ever be disgraced (put to shame), but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others”.

Refuse to be moved by your circumstances. Today is not as dark as some men would have you believe. Today is not as desolate and desperate as the media so often would portray. There is hope for you. Today is the day of the Lord – a day of deliverance, a day of blessing, a day of visitation. Let your actions and His Words on your lips agree with each other. You are a victor predestined to win. You are a package of blessing. You are Abraham’s seed, full of the Holy Ghost and power.

I pray for you today and declare that you will not be put to shame. May God perfects all that concerns you today in Jesus name. Amen.

Be Blessed!

In Him,
~Ali Papa.

Faithbook Profile

Have you ever been at a place in your life where you felt the Lord was telling you to let go of the situation and trust in Him, but all you could see was how things looked from a logical, human perspective? I have been there many times but each time I let go I am encouraged to know that God is living out a divine plan through me because of my faith in Him (Mark 11:22).

Walking by faith is not always easy but I want you to look at the heroes of faith and you will see people who believed it before they saw it. You will see people who went when God said ‘go’ even though they didn’t know where they were going or what it would be like when they got there.  You will see people who walked by faith and not by sight.

We are told in Hebrews 11:1 that “Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.” The New International Version translates that verse this way “Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” What is God calling you to do that will require you to step into a walk of faith? Faith is believing God and acting on what you believe. What are your beliefs? All eyes are on you now because of your faith. The fight of faith is on! Whatever mountain of difficulty you have, be it a mountain of debt or serious health condition, Jesus says in Mark 11:23, “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”

You may not be there yet, but you’re closer than you were yesterday. Have faith in God. Give your faith a target. Go ahead and update your “Faithbook” status. If it’s weak, take in more of of God’s Word. Say to yourself: Faith is the cure that heals all my troubles. I am of good cheer. I am not afraid. I fear not. Speak to whatever you are facing today. Declare that your faith is in God’s Word and you are coming out this triumphantly by the grace of God!

For every problem, God already has the solution! He can turn around any situation. His goodness, mercy, grace and love are following us today. Doors of opportunity are being opened. Bondages of lack and fear be gone in Jesus’ name. When we are tempted, he will provide a way out so that we can stand up under it – 1 Cor 1013. We are protected, we are healed, and we know that everything will work out right.
